Well, I finally got my Order number from the dealer and this is the link to the car I just got rid of. It looks like the order was placed in July 11, 2014. It shows it is still in order processing. Anyone have an order placed in July that has had their car start production yet?

Hey guys,

1st post, but been lurking since late last year. Long-time Mustang guy, but was on the fence until I saw the car in person at the 50th Anniversary celebration in Charlotte. Ordered a GT Premium w/ PP on August 1st; changed it today and dropped the Recaros. Kinda sad, but it's a daily driver that will rarely see any competitive track time. So I figured I'd drop it back to the regular interior with 68B (Ebony). From what everyone else is saying, the stock seats are more than sufficient for 'spirited' driving (I've sat in the '14 Recaros, and like them, but not sure I would long-term for everyday driving and long trips).

Anyway, wanted to say hello, and thanks to everyone who has participated in sharing the amazing amount of information that's been made available here.

Welcome Captain Zach. You will like the guys on this site....friendly, knowledgable & willing to share lots of info. It's especially cool for me as this will be my first Muscle Car. I had a flathead '53 Ford with 3 on the tree in high school. I moved into the big iron (for its time), a '58 Olds Super 88 with the special ordered J-2 tri power engine...one of the sharpest & quickest away from a stoplight in the county. I was busy working nights in a factory & going to school full time days, starting a family & a new business during the Muscle Car Era, so I'm now back to my youth at 75+ years young. Again, welcome, & enjoy this great sight & the contributors.

Hi everyone, been following the S550 since before the reveal. First post here. I currently drive a 2012 BMW 328i 6MT and was very close to buying a 2012 GT instead - actually rented a GT premium from Hertz and mostly loved it - but the MT82 issues that were prevalent at the time scared me, and the auto was not very good, so I leased the BMW.

My life situation changed shortly after taking delivery and at this point it makes more sense for me to buy a car and pay it off rather than lease (I don't commute anymore so even low mileage leases are excessive for me). So I am super excited to see how the S550 shakes out in reviews. They fixed a lot of my issues with the S197 (cheap plastic, tilt steering wheel) but my main concern is still the transmissions - I've lived with a bad manual (Infiniti G37) and it made me hate the car so either the updated MT82 needs to be significantly better, or the updated 6R80 needs to be decently responsive during paddle shifts. If either of those are the case I may pick one up before my lease matures in early May.

Hello all name is Nicholas, I have a genesis coupe 3.8 2013. However i'm absolutely in love with the new mustang and when I mean in love i'm Addicted. I can't stop fantasizing over the car. I got my genesis back in High school and I was extremely popular most likely due to having the nicest car in the school. So I racked up an extreme amount of miles for my lease & now even with my most conservative driving figures I will go over significantly. So im planning on selling the car even tho I will loose some money it won't as much as end of lease miles. I have a job at Apple & I always have a backup job with my dad's business. I


I'm Looking to lease the 2015 Stang GT PP. I hate the black rims on the PP I's there anyway i can get the 20" which I love

Ford has me down for a '15 GT, Ingot, 5.0/Manual, with only one option: Recaros. Trying to keep the car simple, clean, and light. This will be my DD, and I have zero track intent for it, so no track pack. It's going to get an exhaust, coilovers, and some wheels. Then done.

This will be the first car I've ever owned with an in-tact warranty, lol. Here's the rest of the stable at the moment. Little bit of everything!

wanted to pop onto mustang6g because i always want to know more about my most beloved car ever and also wanted to reach out to some local owners. Maybe one day i will pick up a 5.0 or an ecoboost, but we shall see.
