Depends on the PPF brand you want (Xpel, Suntek, etc.) and what installation company you go through. I work for a PPF business here in Sacramento, CA but unfortunately I don't make any decisions on what we charge our clients.

I would definitely get that wrapped and the rocker panels. They take some abuse, trust me I have tons of chips on my rocker panels.

It could be that reason. I think it's because coatings adheres to the Clearcoat more than a sealant and wax would. I have a coat of Cilajet on my mustang and what I noticed before and after was that it gave it a high clarity and wet look to my paint. I'm planning on buying chemical guys carbon...
