Ben, currently hailing from the "Queen City", Charlotte, NC.

Got into 'Stangs growing up around Cleveland,OH, right around 16-17yo, with a buddy who had an '87 GT with T-tops (LOVE the T-tops!). Helped change the Cam, Headers, Exhaust, weld in (looking back on it, SO GLAD we never had a chance to see if the "welds" were any good!) a ghetto rollcage, and even eventually tore down a 351 Windsor to swap some other parts. Hooked ever since.

Ended up getting a 1993 Cobra around 1996 and kept it through 1999; been through too many cars since: 2005 BMW 330i-ZHP (props if you know that model), 2002 Saab Viggen, Civic Si (yeah, I know), and a bunch of other forgettable ones. ALWAYS loved the pull of the 5.0 and lamented the loss of that engine.

Saw/felt the faults of the SRA even in the 1990's, didn't like the styling of any of the Mustangs past 1993, and almost came back in 2005, with the exception of that daggum motor. When I finally got ready to pull the trigger in 2011, my heart was heavy knowing IRS would come in a few years, so I didn't do it. Now I'm ready (DI and possible Voodoo theories be damned!)

I always suspected that, Steve.

My username comes from collecting Fender Strats. You can find me on forums and other social media all over the web under the same user name.
I've got a couple 'Strats myself. My main guitar (of the 8 or so I have) is a Fender Prodigy - which is very Strat-like, I got lucky as it has some amazing tone and sustain.

My first guitar (and still my baby) is '86 Fender Strat with an amazing warm sound.

I have a Blade (Levinson) Strat that I love, it takes all the good points of a Fender and improves on them in my opinion.

Blades are great. My number one Strat is very old school being a '64. Had to have it, being the year I was born.

Jason from Houston, TX.

Former Performance Red '00 GT owner. Got it used, learned how to drive manual with it. Did some modifying of the suspension...springs/shocks, but still felt like I was driving a lowered truck at most times. Also had a V8 4runner for a few years, great truck but sooo boring to drive, said I'll never get a truck/SUV again. During graduate school.. wanted something fun to drive, cheap, good mpg… got a new civic si. Yes i'm aware of all the negative stereotypes that come with the car but it has the best NA 4 cylinder ever and one of the smoothest manual transmissions ever built. On top of the that the resale is awesome. But now ready to get back into something with some more power… I felt my '00 GT was powerful, can't imagine what 450 hp feels like. All for 35K! Late 2014 can't come soon enough..

Hi I'm Jennifer. I own a 2007 Mustang Gt Convertibe. I've had her for 5 years. Tungsten grey in color with black fabric top, premium interior, automatic transmission, 3.73 rear end gears, cold ir intake, SSR GT 10 rims and SCT tuner.. 86,000 miles she had just over 9,000 miles on it. I have several awards in car shows with her. Anyway, ask if you have questions.

Long time lurker, first time poster. Mustang fan from Australia and have been following the forums for a while now. Looking forward to seeing the new Mustang on Aussie roads, and hopefully parking one next to my '69 Mach 1. I'm really liking the look of the GT.... I'll have mine in black thanks.

Eric Here. Living/working in Houston, TX.

I haven't ALWAYS been a mustang fan and I am sure my opinions on some of the past models would make some of the members here cringe but the important point is...I am a mustang fan. I love the originals, the classics, the muscle. I love what ford did in 2005 and again in 2010. I don't own one but I test drove a 2010 before I could afford one and I was impressed with the quality, comfort, power, and look. I am happy with what Ford has done and hope they can continue it.

I drive a VW Tiguan, my wife drives a VW Passat TDI...BUT she also owns a '66 coupe that has been in the family for years and is in need of restoration. I am hopeful to find some time and money to bring it back to life!

I have been lurking for a while and now that they have come out with the info on the 2015, I am awaiting info on the next SVT which will hopefully be my next car :-D

been lurking on this forum for a while, posting on TMS occasionally for the last few years. owned a 2010 then went traitor 2 years later and traded it for an S4, but have wanted back ever since. was a bit bitter about not waiting for the 5.0 like i should have... have made peace with that, now waiting to see if the GT or SVT Variant can pull me back from the germans. based on the pics its looking very likely.
