Mind sharing which dealer in TX you're looking at?
I think another member in TX got his 2015 GT for 5K off of sticker. I'm going to aim for 5500 off :D
Wow... great job! I like the graphics more than your run of the mill double racing stripes down the middle. Your wheels look a lot more modern than the photoshop Boss! For some reason they look bigger than the PP 19s and fill out the wheel wells better. Are you lowered on anything?
To the leather Recaro owners, do you feel like the leather quality is cheap like in this thread:

really disappointing when I see stuff like that in a brand new car.
I'm also in Houston and plan on checking out Mustangs soon also. I live right next to Planet Ford but it seems like Autonation Katy gets the most recommendations from Mustang shoppers. Let us know how it goes this weekend.
Wow! 5K off of sticker is a great deal!
First Houston member to get one! Black looks so nice when kept clean!
Any driving comparisons compared to the S197? Which one would you take out for a weekend drive?
1. Currently drive a 2011 Civic si sedan, completely stock (really is a fun commuter car… seriously)
2. Owned a 2000 Performance Red Mustang GT 5 spd in the past.
3. Looking forward to getting back into a Mustang GT next year!
I'm a fan of all cars as long they don't make the drive...
I am... although I don't have a car ordered. I'm all about the performance aspect of the mustang and weight is the biggest turnoff for the s550. Take 200 lbs off the front and with a tune the EB shouldn't be too behind the GT on the track. Better mpg is icing on the cake. The downsides are...
Thanks for posting! Some things I noticed.... Shifter seems nice and tight, the hood ridges can get annoying, the steering wheel seems like the perfect size, exhaust seems to be loud enough stock.
I'll go with MT and R&T, who are used to driving sports/exotic cars regularly. Exhaust will be the first thing many buyers upgrade and I'm sure many will be buying FRPP... $$$ for Ford.
The obvious competitor as it has been for decades is the camaro. I'm sure we'll be seeing several comparisons from the car mags, especially of the 1LE vs the GT PP (which I have a feeling the stang won't do too well, but we'll see). Challenger RT is too big, floaty, and underpowered. With the...
Looks great! Saw a stock one the other day and looked very underwhelming but that looks nice! The rear aero piece looks a little too busy but other than that it flows very well.
Reviews are solid. In my opinion…
Positives: updated manual transmission, IRS/suspension overall is the real deal, every article seems to mention "refined"
Negatives: weight, Weight, WEIGHT. And also too quiet from the factory
There is only one transmission from Getrag that I feel made them famous in the tuning world. The V160 6 spd is legendary among Supra owners. Rated at 360 tq, there are many many Supras pushing 1000+HP/700+TQ on stock transmission.
Are the guard color photos representative of what the color looks like in person? I was hoping for more of an military green touch vs the aqua green that its showing. Once again thanks for the great pics!
