I have been trolling for some time now and have not jumped on the registration. I finally spent the 2 minutes to do so. I wanted to thank everyone for their posts/input/thoughts/enthusiasm. This new 2015 mustang is one hell of a car!!! I was a FORD master technician for about 4 years before changing careers to a more deserving career path(if anyone can guess from the user name,ca). So I ordered from the dealership I used to work at and awaiting for my s550 to be built and I can not wait for it. 2015 5.0 ignot silver, recaros, performance package, shaker system. Well see you guys around!!!

My name is John. I have been lurking on this forum for a couple of months learning everything I could about the new Mustang. Never owned one before, but I've always wanted one. I placed my X-plan order this week for a Ruby Red GT Fastback Premium with stick. The dealer said it won't be in till November, but since I'm in the Sunshine State, that shouldn't be an issue.

Nice order. I hope your dealer is right. There are many of us who ordered between May and July who would love to have our cars by November!

My name's Dave. I have decided, at the advanced age of 49, that it's time to buy something with a V-8 and burn up as much gasoline as possible. I actually like my current GTI but (1) it's starting to feel a little slow and (2) I'm tired of putting too much power to the wrong wheels. Previous rides have been Accords, a couple of Toyotas and a Saab 99 which I try very hard to deny I ever owned. All of those you'll note are FWD and 6 cylinders at most. So this should be quite the experience Actually, a friend just snagged a great deal on an EVO X GSR. Although I absolutely respect the car (he had a S2000 before that) I realized that I wanted something that could be considered domestic muscle at some point in my life. A C7 was on the list but honestly I am not going to spend $70K. Between the 'Stang, Challenger and Camaro it was a no-brainer - I'll take the newest platform under 4,000 pounds please And the current gen Camaro is horrible for me from a visibility standpoint - I can't imagine driving it everyday and being happy about that.

Sorry for the rant. Looking forward to ordering - I need to see everything in person and drive some before plunking my money down. Should be a fun process though.

Hey Guys! Looking forward to the Mustang! . Its gonna be my first American car after personally driving only Japanese cars. Right now i'm just using the family van :(..but totally ready to rock out in the new Mustang. Planning on getting a fully loaded auto Ecoboost with PP and hopefully the ACC. I think the ACC is going to come in handy if only for the front collision warning system. I've had experience with Mercedes' ACC (DISTRONIC PLUS) so hopefully Ford can live up to my expectations.
