2018 Fury says hello

Hey guys,

Checking in to say hi. Finally "official" but been following the forums for some time now.

I've been a Ford guy for a long time, and will be ordering my fifth Mustang in the spring - a premium GT PP1 car stick car (options and color still TBD...). Previously I've owned a '68 289 notchback (my only auto Mustang), a '68 BB GT fastback (390/Toploader/9" car), an '86 GT 5.0 hatchback (first post-college car), and most recently an '05 GT Deluxe car in Sonic Blue (the '86 and '05 were ordered new). In my spare time I'm restoring a '65 Falcon Futura wagon (289 with a C4).

Hello My name is Don and I Sold my 2016 GT350R and today I ordered at 2018 Mustang GT Performance Pack LEVEL 2, Black, 401A Premium, w/active valve EXH, MSRP came to $49590.00 ordered it at INVOICE $46,995.68 I order this because I phyical talked to the FORD rep today and he said with the 3.73 rear end they were doing 0-60 times in 3.6 seconds. A youtuber has a video up with dyno of 437 to the rear wheels x .15 (drivetrain loss) = 65.5 + 437 = 502 Hps. Plus the GT 350 size wheels the R springs and rear anti sway bars.....plus the biggest bonus of the New Coyote engine over the FPC. Do not get me wrong I had the R and it was one of the best cars I have ever had..BUT...I personally do not think its smart to turbo it or Supercharge it. However, the Coyote engine you can do all sorts of things to it, i.e Roush etc..For me I drove the 2018 GT PP1 2 days ago and almost bought it it was so fast and LOUD and handel so good I thought I was driving my R again...really it was that good.

Old and new

I just picked up a Roush Supercharged '17 GTPP. My '68 convertible needed a stable mate! I've really admired the S550's since they came out but for some reason I just HAD to have this one.

I thought the '68 was a brute with a stroked 390 (445 ci) and 500 HP, 550 ft-lbs. But the supercharged Coyote is another animal altogether. I would say the torque slam into the seat is similar but my god the pull from the '17 is crazy. Can't wait to get it on the strip next year!

hey there!! former 3 time 2011-2013 Coyote Mustang owner who jumped ship when the S550 refresh came along and ended up with a 2016 Scat Pack Challenger. I now have renewed interest in the 2018 GT and contemplating trading in the Scat Pack with only 3k miles on it) for an A10 Orange Fury GT ( don't tell my wife)

New 17 GT

Greetings! Picked up my new 2017 GT with performance pack on Friday. I am also currently working on an updated restored on my 1966 Coupe (purchased by me in 1985). I will post more pictures when I can.
I had a 2007 GT for a few years but had to let it go. This new one is absolutely amazing! Plan for window tint soon. I also have the Borla CatBack sport ordered. Let the games begin!

Hey! New to the forum but figured I'd join on in. I picked up my metallic grey 2018 Ford Mustang GT PP with all the 'bells and whistles' last Wed. Slowly getting used to it, finding what I'll want to do for my phone mount, additional cameras, little mods (like the cheesy side mirror to say 'Objects in mirror are losing'), et cetera. A bit more about me... Hmm... I'm 27, IT professional for a large organization, live in Denver (Colorado, in case someone oddly thinks of a different state first). Don't know what else to say for now but feel free to message me if you're thinking about the 2018 and have any questions about it, I'm not the most knowledgeable but I'm happy to help answer or take pictures/video of anything you'd like.

I have been looking for a nice low mile 2011-2014 automatic equipped GT for a while now and prices are staying high. you should be able to do well trading it in or selling outright
