  1. Custom Quad Tips

Hello gents, I was asking about quad exhaust options for my ā€˜17 PP GT and was recommended to check out the Solo systems. I visited their website and listened to the sound clips for the XV and liked what I heard. Has anyone else tried their systems and have any thoughts or feedback? Iā€™ve been...
  2. Quad tip options on my '17 GT PP

Anywho... appreciate the ideas. If anyone else has any experience with the various quad exhaust options for the ā€˜15 thru ā€˜17 GTs please chime in - thanks! Rob
  3. Quad tip options on my '17 GT PP

Everything Iā€™ve read indicates changing the rear valance is non-trivial but definitely seems worth the effort. I donā€™t have to deal with the reverse sensors so I donā€™t have to worry about that. In any case I know Iā€™ll be planning a full weekend for the exhaust and valance upgrade. Sheesh...
  4. Quad tip options on my '17 GT PP

Good stuff guys - thanks! The Corsa Sport sounds great but I wasnā€™t sure how the dual tips themselves look in the valance. Iā€™m concerned that if you get close they wonā€™t look right. The MF setup looks awesome but I read some feedback that they need ā€œadjustmentsā€ to fit properly. Not sure how...
  5. Quad tip options on my '17 GT PP

Hello gents! Once the weather warms up here in Jersey I plan on treating my GT to a new exhaust system. After seeing how cool the quad setup looks on the '18 I plan on going the same route, using the Roush rear valance to get the job done. I've looked at the exhaust options out there that...
  6. Ford Performance at PRI 2017

I've been wondering if this was the case - if true this is very interesting. I just picked up my '17 in November and plan on upgrading the exhaust in the spring. If the '18 rear fascia/valance will swap, then that'll give me more options. I really like the look of the quad exhaust on the '18s ;)...
  7. Project Midnight

Thanks a lot for your insight! It really helps getting this kind of input from someone whoā€™s already been down this path. Rob
  8. Project Midnight

First off, very nice build, and very impressive 1/4 mile times. Makes me feel better about having picked up my '17 a few weeks ago versus going with the '18 (hard to justify the extra $$$). I'm curious - did you get a baseline time for your GT before you started adding mods? I'm wondering how...
  9. Aftermarket exhaust closest to new '18 exhaust

Thanks for the tip - Iā€™ll check them out! Rob
  10. Aftermarket exhaust closest to new '18 exhaust

Thanks guys. I did check out the sound bites on the Corsa Sport exhaust and it sounded excellent. Itā€™s a pricey piece but I like to think you get what you pay for. Since Iā€™m looking for a bolt-in installation itā€™s definitely on my short list ;) Rob
  11. Aftermarket exhaust closest to new '18 exhaust

Hello folks, Well, now that I'm the proud owner of a new '17 GT I'm starting my mod list, and one of the first things I'll be doing once the weather picks up here in Jersey is to upgrade the exhaust. The stock system is WAY too quiet for my taste, and after having driven an '18 GT I'd like to...
  12. Why are you buying a 2017 GT instead of waiting?

When I pulled into the dealership and they had it sitting out front my heart rate just jumped. It looks fantastic in the sun - so deep and beautiful. Ford does a great job with their metallic paints - their blues look similarly great. But the ruby is just so cool...especially with black wheels. Rob
  13. Why are you buying a 2017 GT instead of waiting?

A deal too good to pass on... Well I wasn't planning on contributing to this thread, but here I am... the proud owner of a spanking-new 2017 Ruby Red Mustang GT PP car (401A). And it really came down to not being able to pass on a great deal. A friend mentioned that he got a great deal by car...
  14. 2018 GT which color - poll

I was originally leaning towards OF but recently changed to Ruby Red. I finally got to see the color in person and itā€™s a lot more yellow than I realized but still very nice. However I plan on adding LeMans stripes and black stripes could be a bit too much. Going with Ruby Red allows the option...
  15. Official: 2018 Ford Mustang Refresh Detailed! (Options/Features, Specs, Photos, Info)

Thatā€™s the beauty of a spoiler delete option - you can take it or leave it. Personally I really like it - thought the previous PP cars were missing something sans a spoiler. Thatā€™s just me though and now Iā€™m just trying to figure out how Le Mans stripes are going to work with the center...
  16. Picked up my 2018 Mustang GT in Royal Crimson!

FYI I got a chance to drive a 401A car last week. While I canā€™t speak for ā€˜regular radioā€™, when I was playing with SiriusXM the station info did display at the top of the digital dash. Rob
  17. Hmmm... MagneRide vs. 401A

While a trip to New Zealand would be extremely cool, passing up on a V8 would be too much to bear. I suspect at some point V8s will become a thing of the past so I'm grabbing my 460hp version and holding onto it :D Rob
  18. Hmmm... MagneRide vs. 401A

Having come from an '05 GT interior quality is a big deal for me too. Although the base GT is a "better" deal I really don't want to deal with hard plastic door panels again. The 400A GT with the upgraded door panels/soft touch materials is important to me. And the extra trim upgrades with the...
  19. Hmmm... MagneRide vs. 401A

That is another option that I had considered before - maybe need to revisit it. The non-active exhaust does sound a LOT better than I expected, and from a driving perspective the MagneRide may make a bigger difference than having the variable exhaust, which perhaps if I'm honest I'll likely set...
