Ins cost 3 times as much in FL over other states. I have always paid a insane amount for Ins and have no ticks, wrecks and have a 800+ credit score. I pay $900 every 6 months with the least amount of coverage at 10/20 with Esurnace.

Florida has to account for hurricanes/flooding is why it will always be higher. Hurricanes kill cars not parked inside- flooding under and the flying debris. FL has the highest hurricane frequency rate of any state.

My GT is about $700 every 6 months with Progressive; 35 clean record 800+ credit. Live inland.

It will also depend exactly what city, closer to the coast costs more; much greater flood risk. Every time there is a few days of bad rain, or good tropical wave, you see cars flooded under on Miami beach and the portions west of the Intercoastal. That contributes to high rates.

21, on my own insurance. Currently driving a 2014 Mazda 6.

Clean record besides one car accident when I was 16 that wasn't too bad.

Anyway, just called up Allstate yesterday to see how much my GT will raise my insurance and apparently it's actually going down $80 a month. So now I'll be paying $186/month for $500/$500 deductibles and $100K coverage. They said it's because its a new car and it has decent safety features.

Sub $450 every 6 months.

30 years old
clean record
$250 comprehensive
$500 Collision
Geico full coverage ($1 million injury etc)

Like someone else said, comparing insurance quotes is kind of pointless as there are tons of factors that go into the cost.
Wtf how did you get this coverage? Where do you live? I'm 28 clean licenses and paying $260 with Geico.. in jersey.. terrible

I'm ordering my GT in the next two months and have gotten quotes from Geico

About $400-450 per month with high liability limits and full coverage. I think it was around $350-ish per month for the bare minimum limits.

I'm 21, several violations, New Jersey. So it makes sense for it to be this high. Lol

As many have stated; age, driving record, marital status, credit score, miles per year, location, etc. are all weighted in the rates.

37, not married. - I pay 77$ a month with Geico for full coverage, 500 deduc, roadside, rental. I just switched over to them this year when I got the car after Progressive tried shafting me after being with them for 10 years. Going from my WRX to my Mustang was almost a $200 a MONTH increase and they couldn't tell me why other than some BS about passing state requirements to the customers. I think my DMV record is +4 points ATM.

$320/6 mos - can you believe it?

Explanation:
Indiana is low cost state
Non-profit Insurance company is Indiana Farm Bureau
60 years age, clean driving record
Pleasure only declared
3-car and homeowner insurance bundled
$500 deductible, 100/300/100 coverage
Includes 1st year replacement, towing, and other perks.

I backed into my colleague's vehicle, tweaked his door, and dinged my bumper, and submitted a claim. Then I lost my no-claims deduction, and it went up to $380/6mos. Still pretty low.
