There's a lot more to the cost of insurance than you guys are stating. There's a huge difference between $50k per person/$150k per accident coverage and $100k per person/$300k per accident coverage. What is your property damage coverage? Do you carry uninsured motorist insurance and at what level? What are your deductibles for collision and comprehensive? All these things matter a lot. Merely saying you pay $1200 a year tells nothing about what you are paying for. Just my $.02.

Since we all have different Mustangs from all over the country as well as the world I thought I’d ask this question if anybody’s willing to pony up an answer. I get that it is personal since there are things like traffic tickets and other stuff that are involved. What is everybody paying for a years worth of insurance on their Mustang?

I will start at $1,258 a year from Allstate in SoCal at 53 years old for a 2019 Mustang GT Premium.
$1158.80 a year on a 2015 V6 Mustang 57 yrs old clean record. Central Floriduh.

HAHA!!!!

I should note I have a $2K deductible on all them on collision as I see Bikeman315 showed all his costs. That's his 2nd highest cost. That's a REAL good place to cut some expense.

All I know is I was shocked to find out convertibles are cheaper than coupes. Must be related to accident stats.

For just the Mustang I am at about $1500 annually. But I live in Houston and the rates here are stupid high. And because I live in the land of uninsured and dumbass drivers I carry higher than normal coverage. I'm 41 btw.

My wife hasn't had an accident or ticket in probably 10 years. My son had an accident in July, fell asleep at the wheel, so he got ticketed for failure to maintain lane. I hit a deer three years ago, supposedly that doesn't count, but I'm no sure I trust that. I also got an 84/70 ticket which carries no points in Georgia. I was actually going 91, but the trooper cut me a break.

Retiring there shortly. Can’t wait for the better taxes and pricing. And cost of housing.
We aren't accepting people from
California any longer. We have reached quota. LOL.

my GT/CS is combined with my 2020 Explorer .......$2k for both since I cant drive them at the same time 😀
My insurance don't see it that way, They think someone else will be driving them.
We have 5 vehicles, 2 drivers. They argue that because they are legal tagged and insured that someone could go drive them while we are driving 2 out of the 5.
Even with the yearly mileage statements with odom reading photo's.
5 cars just under 4000.00 So it isn't all bad, but still.
The 6th and 7th vehicles are under collector insurance and that is a whole other ball of wax.

53 yr old with a clean record. Have 2 daughters 17 and 21. Have 3 cars in the family (of 4) but the insurance company says in MD I cannot exclude them (for insurance) from driving my GT.

all with $750 deductible.....my insurer shows me as primary for the 2020 explorer and GT/CS. My wife is primary for the other two. kids are out of the house so that helps as well. Will look into Haggerty for the 68 when that's on the road.
