My son had an accident in his 2020 Mustang back in July. It took over two months to get it back. In his case the damage was on the passenger side, but it was similar to yours, though not as extensive. I believe total damages came to about $13K. I think yours is substantially higher and...
My son wrecked his 2020 Mustang back in July. Fell asleep at the wheel. Nobody hurt, which is great, about $13,000 in damages. Looks and runs fine now. In GA we got DV of just over $2K.
I have him on MyKey too.
My wife hasn't had an accident or ticket in probably 10 years. My son had an accident in July, fell asleep at the wheel, so he got ticketed for failure to maintain lane. I hit a deer three years ago, supposedly that doesn't count, but I'm no sure I trust that. I also got an 84/70 ticket which...
$5856 a year from USAA for a 2018 Camaro SS 1 LE, a 2020 Mustang EcoBoost, a 2016 Honda Accord Limited. 58 years old, 43 years old and 16 years old. And yeah, I wish we all had clean records, but only 2/3 do.
The difference in state driving laws is amazing. Here you can drive 9 mph over the speed limit and by law the only LEO who can pull you over for it is a State Trooper. Tickets for speeding less than 15 mph over the limit don't even carry points. Speeding 20 mph over is a "Super Speeder"...
You might be surprised. I didn't start until I was almost 50 and I can run 10 rounds through a lever action in about 3-4 seconds depending upon how many different targets I have to hit.
I don't know what your shift points are, but I'm still in 2nd at 60, so only one shift. For a quarter mile run I'll have to shift to fourth at the end, so three shifts vs one shift could explain the difference you see.
Good thought, but I don't think that would do it. I have my son's Mustang set up with the MyKey mode, and it doesn't affect acceleration, only maximum speed, and stereo volume etc.
That's what I did. A manual Camaro and an automatic Mustang.
That's not necessarily true. Just as in cars, it depends upon who is behind the trigger/wheel.
Again, not necessarily true. Assuming you have to hit a target, I can run my lever action rifle faster than 99% of people can run a...
This was my experience with the Challenger during a test drive, very boatish. The Mustang was much tighter and, no offense, the Camaro 1LE handled way way better than either of them.
I rule with an iron fist, except when my wife tells me not to.
The Camaro can do it all. There's definitely truth to the visibility issue. Adjusting mirrors correctly is a must, but even when they are adjusted perfectly the high belt line makes it hard to judge where the car is in relation...
Yeah, but not in that crowded garage with my Camaro parked a few inches from his Mustang.
I like the 2016-18 look best, but I would have preferred the later model hoods with the single big scoop in the middle to the twin extractors.
Sounds like a lot of work. The most I can muster is 2-3...
The Mustang and Camaro are both parked in the garage. No worries, they get along fine. However, I am the only one allowed to pull cars into or out of the garage.
Camera's are nice. Not having to turn your head is a good thing. I like my Heads Up Display for the same reason, no need to take my eyes off the road to see my speed, rpm, gear, g force, and whether rev match is on.
For over fifty years the Mustang and Camaro have benefited from each other’s existence. Each has spurred the other to ever higher levels of performance.
Both would suffer if the other ceased to exist.
Both are marvels of engineering and world class cars that far exceed their predecessors of...
