insurance rates are going to vary because of so many factors (eg, multi-policy, multi-car, how many on policy, location, age, record, estimated mileage/yr, liability coverage, comprehensive coverage, collision coverage, on and on). that said, i'm in my mid-40s, west coast, mercury insurance, 2018 Shelby GT350R, $229 per 6 mos currently.

Exactly… and in many cases, married vs not, geographic location (rural vs city), local crime, plus some Ins. Co.’s require Credit scoring too.

The other thing to consider when getting automobile Insurance is this:
If you have a vehicle where you either paid a lot of money for it, or it’s a limited edition OR you’ve dumped a shit ton into it as far as mods/upgrades… please do yourself a favor and get an Agreed Value Policy. This means that the vehicle is insured for an Agreed Value between you and the Insurance Company. It means that in the event of a total loss claim, you will be paid that Agreed Value, nothing more and nothing less. It also means the actual Agreed Value is present within the Policy and on the Declaration pages.

Clean driving record over 50, multi car policy, under 5k miles a year discount. The daily cost less and gets 5 times the mileage a year. Wife's truck cost more per year 2054.12 and she puts about 6k a year on it.
We both have clean driving record no tickets, etc.

Yes.

My '15 runs $349/year through them, 0 deductible with an agreed value. I do have other (much) older vehicles insured with them. I'm 52, clean record.

This is depressing, SE MI, $1,800 a year, perfect driving record, 50 years old, Auto-Owners.

To be fair, it's the only vehicle on the policy as I want to keep my toy separate from the other vehicles as my wife pays our insurance. So there is no volume discount of any type.

If you’re a Costco member, look into Connect by Amerisave. They cut my insurance rates in half. I was with Allstate for over 30 years. Connect obliterated what I was paying for 4 autos, boat, homeowners with Allstate.

Edited to add.. Paying $1200 per 6/mo for 4 autos. '20 Mustang GT, a '14 Fusion EB, '13 Superduty & a '95 F150.

Thats with my discounts too and doesn’t include my bike or the house…I’ll probably lose the low mileage discount on the Mustang…I already put 16k on it since April 1st
