How much WHP on ID1050x?

Hello everyone,

I’m just going to get straight to the point, how much horsepower are ID1050x fuel injectors capable of supporting on a boosted/E85 3rd gen 5.0?

I was running Sai Li dual pump with ID1050x injectors on E85 along with my ESS G3 110mm pulley and made 813 whp and that was it, the fuel system was tapped out. So I just bought a Lethal Performance fuel system triple pump (3x Walboro F90000285-486lph) but I’m wondering if I need to also buy ID1300x if I want to make 1xxxHP, obviously I will pulley down significantly after my fuel system install because my Sai li was only able to safely run the 110mm. So again will ID1050x be able to push 1000whp or do I need ID1300x?

All dynos are different. Dont get caught up in numbers from one car/dyno to another.

I was on an extremely cheap fuel system on stock fuel rails when I dynoed plus 110mm pulley which is still relatively big and couldn’t pulley down due to Sai Li fuel system not being able to support it hence why I upgraded fuel system, the car was also cutting fuel significantly on this set up. I’m tuned by Lund.

On the gen 3 you'll be able to get decently higher numbers out of a set of 1000x. As long as everything is plumbed correctly and wired correctly you should be able to hit 4 digit power without tapping out the injectors. Increasing the base pressure will help extend the top end of the injector and shouldn't be as problematic on a set of 1000's as the bigger squirters for idle quality.

The other aspect is ID's internal limits vs what a tuner is comfortable with seeing for duty cycle. Someone would have to weigh in with what ID sets as the duty cycle limit, but I generally think it's both lower (at max output) and higher (on the bottom end) than what most tuners are comfortable seeing. With a high pressure system helping you shouldn't have any problems hitting 1000+.

You have a manual and he’s auto and different dynos…..don’t get it twisted, even with your perceived HP advantage, he’d gap you.

Yes that was the first thing I did lol back when I was NA and I also have midnight performance stage 2+ 10r80 rated 1300whp I forgot to mention that… but anyways yeah OPG was literally my first mod

I didn’t say I was faster than him. I know that autos can shift faster but I rather drive a manual than just sit there and steer. I can build whatever I want I would NEVER build an automatic Mustang. I can always make make mine faster.

850-maybe 900, centri for whatever reason seem to tax the injectors more, because of the increasing boost curve. after about 900 we go to an id1300 of fic1440 for the guys
