Exactly why I would never choose them to tune my car.
Me either. You don't need 2000hp fuel system just for some 'overhead'. You also don't need them telling you what to buy or they won't tune you. IF they feel it's not enough, explain it to the customer, & don't give 'all the sauce' so-to-speak.

Exactly why I would never choose them to tune my car. You pay that much money for a tune they should cater to your wants and needs.

But I also knew they wouldn’t tune my car on e85 or e30 without fuel system so they were never an option
and that’s ok. You nor them will lose any sleep with your decision.

I’m running dual f90000285 pumps with id1050x’s and just over 1k at the wheels on e85. Totally comfortable in my fueling. Tuned by Lund

Same pumps I have at 900+RW. Plenty of headroom with these without killing the bank.

Injector dynamics has a very good calculator on their site that’s more accurate than a typical BFSC approximation.

it will depend on rpm limit and boost. Along with lambda at WOT.

Careful. Too many people will learn this and tuners will be offended…….
tuners are not offended. the reason most don't tune for "e50 or e60, is because there really aren't any pumps that are specially e50 or e60.

so... is each customer going to fill with x amount of e85, then fill with x amount of pump, then drive around and make sure it's mixed good, then pop a fuel line, or add an inline fitting where you can push to get fuel out, to then test it, and see exactly where its at???

the answer is a for certain no.....

if you told lund, or any other tuner, "every time i fill, i am going to use exact amount of c85 and pump", each and every time, they would tune the car...

most people aren't doing that. joe blow is driving and saying i put this and this from the pump, no testing, no idea what is actually in the tank.

they are protecting the customers from themselves, same reason they don't do "flex" tunes on power adder cars... you'll have some idiot that will have a flex tune , setup at 10psi, and then go...it's flex... i'll just put a 15lb pulley and it will be fine......, etc....

the goal is to have a customer and their car last for a long period of time...

I got 95lb injectors 1000 and fore dual pumps 274. What’s the max whp that will support?
typcially 850ish.. or so wheel, without really killing the injectors, the # can vary with fuel pressure

they don't typcially tell you you "have " to buy, but they have recommendations on good parts, that are consistent. and consistency makes for a good tune

no different than if a customer calls me, i'm going to give recommenations on what i think works together, tried and true stuff, because if the end user gets good results, they are going to happier and come back for more.

To run e30 all you have to do is test the pump e use on online calculator for how much e and 93 mix. It’s very simple been doing it for years on different platforms . Most tuners have a + or - 5 % so e25 to e35 will work perfectly fine.

No different than having to test the e when running straight e85 tune.

Did you ask them, because I asked them if its only E54 or E30 out of the pump can I have an E54 tune instead and they said yes. Return required, not sure.

The 18+ cars can support more power on same size injector than 15-17 because of dual fuel.

I believe OP is a 2015.
