do you have the Steeda fixes for the shifter?
trying to hurry-up the shifter is the wrong place to focus. you don't need to come off the gas very much, just enough to unload the trans and also use just enough clutch to do likewise.

Practice at modest RPM 3-5 where you have lots of room (395/495/95) head of you and can do it at traffic speeds till you get a feel for the pedal dance.

That's what guys in the 60's and 70's did. Only without the box.
I hear you. I used to do it back in the day without the box too on a couple of T45 trannies and a Gen 1 MT82. Got a few nibbles from the synchros (indicating that they weren’t happy) by doing it that way. Lessons learned from those experiences and I wouldn’t do it again no matter what make or model the car was.

Doesn't your car have no-lift shift? That will drastically cut the shift time not having to lift off the gas and back on.

floor it in 3rd (over 5K rpm) and when you use the clutch, do the engine RPMS scream or 'hold'? Hitting the limiter for half a second isn't going to do any harm.

NLS isn't available before 2021 I belive. Though I think folks with the FP tune might have it retrofitted.
I can try it on my '22 Eco but pretty sure it doesn't have it.

Holy shit I thought it was only with the ford power packs? How do I test this without blowing up my car?
Just go out on an open straightaway, pin the throttle and don’t let up while shifting. If the rpm’s fan up you’ll be able to hear it and that will be a sign that you do t have it. On the other hand, if you do have it, you will feel an interruption during the shift from the ignition cut which is what is needed for NLS. Good luck and let us know what you find out.
