^^^ Syco shifter ... nice. :D
I've only got 200(-ish) horses to play with in this car. Gotta try and chop time anywhere I can!

LoL ... maybe you can slow down on the shifting when that GT comes in. I see you got a black one too.

Nineball is one of the best shifters I've ever seen. Fast and smooth and timing is on point. He is a member on corvetteforums (that's where I first ran into his posts) and I'm pretty he's on all the viper forums.

If you can shift anywhere close to this, you'll be golden.

Here's some more of Nineball's more recent vids (I believe he's in the white Viper, but there is another orange Viper whose owner is a outstanding drive too or maybe its him again, not sure, but they both have the driver mod obviously...)

In any case, these Viper pilots can seriously drive...to the point that any deficit their car has its negated by their driving skill, enjoy...

Slow.... Down?

I know what those two words mean in isolation but you have confused me by putting them in that arrangement.

Please, tell me, what is this "slow down" of which you speak?

He maybe saying that in order to shift quickly, you must be in the mindset of shifting smoothly (not in the mindset of banging gears)...so slow smooth shifting will be faster than just trying to bang gears. Practice slow and smooth and you will shift faster and faster.

With 2 times the HP you can probably afford to show down the shifts by a few milliseconds. :)

I have a sneaking suspicion both of you missed the joke in a very spectacular manner.

You said slow down when I get my Mustang.

I was being facetious in that I didn't know what you meant by "Slow Down".

Who buys a GT PP and slows down?

But anyway, back on topic. ;)

Well...in the whole scheme of things...there's alot of cars that are quicker on the street than the S550 GT 5.0 in stock form. So those cars will make you feel like you did slow down!

Probably. I do live only 4 miles away from a Jaguar Aston dealer.

Apply pressure to gear lever before you shift.
As you back off the throttle for that split second before changing, the lever will come out of it's gate due to pressure on the lever. This is all without pressing the clutch pedal.
Then, when you feel it's come out of the gate, simultaneously slam it into the next gate whilst disengaging clutch (a quick dab at the pedal). This whole process should be over within a couple of tenths, depending on the type of box. A little aggression helps.
