turn the wheel and push the accelerator. modulate as needed.

may help to have track mode on with advancetrac off. (hold T/C button for 5+ seconds).

also LOTS OF ROOM just in case.

Meh.
Drive in a circle on a big open paved spot.
Approach the limit of traction.
Get a feel gor the front end grip.
While in the turn, step on the clutch, rev up a little and let go.
Limit counter steer to avoid spinning out
Modulate throttle to adjust burn rate of tires. Loool

I would find someone local to show you how, in person. That way, your next post isn't, "hey did what you said, but in a crowded parking lot, and now my car is totaled." It should go without saying you should do this somewhere safe and empty. Don't be a dumb dumb.

If can, practice on snow or grass to save on tire thread. When you've mastered it, take it to the tarmac and burn some rubber!

The goal is to make the rear tires spin and have the rear end push out but in a constant circle around the front end of the car.

if you have snow, it's REAL easy to test.

on the coyote (at least) no clutch play is necessary for me. slap that bitch in 1st and go to town. Very, very easy to spin the tires

here's his video that VIN666 mentioned

Wet tarmac is good enough. Won't be as bad on your threads as dry. Lucky you, I'm in Canada, Waiting for this damn snow to melt so I can finally drive mine.

Just be sure you have a large, safe, empty parking lot with no light posts before you start. Although the neighbors and cops may not appreciate your handiwork.

While cops like donuts, this is one variety they don't like.

Has anyone done a donut in a previous mustang (solid axle) and then the 2105 (IRS) ? Is there any difference ?

Glad you like the vid, i accept donations for tires. Lol

The gt might not need the clutch kick, but it makes the transition smoother.
Go watch the drift bible, there are lots of ways to initiate a drift :)
