Id never put pins in a stock hood. After market one perhapsHood pins are also another options, plenty of quality options out there if you dont mind drilling holes in your hood!!

They don't. They never touch the hood, only the rear hinge and when they are compressed they give off virtually no force. Even if they did, it would only be exerted on the hinge/hood bolts. In Mexico I am sure.
I do have the Redline hood struts but never went to Mexico prior to install so I cannot say if they made a difference.
Could it be different aerodynamics, under hood pressures, and hood design? :doh:Interesting how camaro and challenger hoods don't move at all and are made of the same Aluminum... food for thought!
Perhaps not as much air goes through them. Look at Mustang GT4 hood and you can see why.Interesting how camaro and challenger hoods don't move at all and are made of the same Aluminum... food for thought!
Who's "they"? I've never heard that before...I've had mine at this speed, and a bit more, a few times and my window seals are fine. They say the window seals come off on these cars at 140mph, whats up with that!
