my 2017 has rubber seals on both sides mid hood. However the adjustable bumpers in the front on both sides were not adjusted There was no contact with hood. Take a red grease pencil or a crayon and cover the upper surface of the bumper close the hood softly then open and look for red circle. Clean marks on hood, recoat bumper with crayon adjust bumpers and check again. You want a nice round red circle on the hood about 1/2" diameter. The hood will need a slight push to latch.

Mine were off about 1/4" when delivered . . . A quicker and more accurate approach is to take a small piece of Silly Putty or Play-Doh and place it on the rubber bumper. You can easily measure the gap and adjust the squeeze how you need it.
Check the trunk fit as well, absolutely necessary if you have a wing on the trunk, those are adjustable too.

Is your hood sealed above the headlights? Mine has a huge open gap between the hood and headlights when the hood is closed.

Or just every time you drive the car adjust them up 1/2 a turn until the hood flutter stops.

lots of ways to adjust If I still chewed gum I would have used it. Don't get them so high that the hood to fender is off

Mine was doing it a little. Passenger side rubber bump was raised and you could see a nice 1/2" or so circle on the under side of the hood where it was making contact. A slight black rub mark from the rubber. Barley noticeable. Driver's side was completely flush with the engine bay. Had no gum or putty. I was at work and bored. I did have a pen. I put ink on the top of the rubber and raised it. Finally after 8 trips back and forth, it now makes a nice 1/2" ink circle on the under side of the hood. All good now and ink removed.

Hmm, I have to check my build date. It was a recall car. The driver's side actually took some force to get it to start to move. It was kind of stuck. H552161x is my number. Where would I look to find the production date?

I've done this. Even installed some 3M D stripping over the headlight to fill the gap - the hood still lifts a bit at speed.
