In Mexico I am sure. :)
I do have the Redline hood struts but never went to Mexico prior to install so I cannot say if they made a difference.
They don't. They never touch the hood, only the rear hinge and when they are compressed they give off virtually no force. Even if they did, it would only be exerted on the hinge/hood bolts.

The movement is a combination of aero pressures and thin aluminum. It gets pretty dramatic at 130+ ;)

Interesting how camaro and challenger hoods don't move at all and are made of the same Aluminum... food for thought!

Could it be different aerodynamics, under hood pressures, and hood design?

Perhaps not as much air goes through them. Look at Mustang GT4 hood and you can see why.

You would think a car capable of 160 mph would have a hood that could sustain the forces related to that speed. They say the window seals come off on these cars at 140mph, whats up with that! I like my car alot but there are some things i feel they could have done a better job with!

Who's "they"? I've never heard that before...I've had mine at this speed, and a bit more, a few times and my window seals are fine.

They also don't have flat plane cranks either maybe the hood flutter is being caused by secondary vibrations! :headbang:

The bumpers turn to adjust (like a screw). I moved mine up a tad and it solved what hood flutter I had before that.

Honestly I'm not surprised at the hood flutter. Track cars with large front ends typically handle it by venting the hood to relieve under-hood pressure, as seen on the GT4 style hood. I'm surprised the GT350/R hood has nothing other than the little opening in the middle to handle this task....or not handle.

Actually. I'd be curious if some of the people with hood flutter remove the center hood screen to see if the decreased obstruction helps the flow enough to decrease the flutter. Any takers? I would but haven't seen any hood flutter yet on mine.
