| I recently purchased a hellion sleeper kit and was toying with a self install on my 2020 pp1 car. Man am I glad I didn’t! The shop that is installing is a full fab facility with a lot of background in mustang builds although this is their first hellion install. What immediately became apparent was the need for more room underneath. They are cutting the boost tubes and re welding to bring them off the ground as there is only 2” of ground clearance. And while true it’s not going to hit anything given proximity to the front wheels all involved feel it is worth doing. The other concern is the air filter location. The k member is obstructing access to the filter. I live in a dusty desert called yuma az. Cleaning air filters is done here on an accelerated schedule. But getting to them requires removing the turbos. The shop owner suggested a tubular k memberDoes anybody have any firsthand experience running bmr street k member with a hellion sleeper kit? Does it create more space for maintenance and possible air filter relocation? Thanks | |||||
