Are there any dyno results ? Which truly gains HP/Tq as opposed to simply generating more noise ..........

Been a while since I saw the article, but really its usually a trade-off. X-pipe is higher pitched sound, and a bit more HP, H-pipe is deeper sound and more TQ. For example, X may give you 7hp and 5tq while H would be 5hp and 7tq.

It's not enough for it to really factor into anything you're doing.

I’ve seen dynos it’s very negligible nothing you’d notice in real world between the two. It’s more of which sound you like more.

On my car back to back dyno runs showed no difference between OEM resonator and FRPP X-pipe. Doubt H-pipe would be any different. The stock system flows pretty good albeit a little too quite for my tastes.

Exactly what I've been thinking. Short of LT headers, etc. Ford has pretty well gotten all there is to get. As such, I'm leaving well enough alone !

Yep. Short of changing the sound, you won't notice any power gains. I went with an H-pipe because I wanted louder, deeper tone.

I do like how the Borla S-type AB's that I added sound. It's the Goldilocks of sound IMHO.

Now that makes sense. Is there any cabin drone under normal acceleration? My service dog must ride back there when I travel outside the Dallas/Ft Worth area. I do not want to cause her any hearing discomfort.

I have the active exhaust so as long as I don't have it in sport/track mode there is no drone.

if you have the active exhaust it can drone a little bit in track mode at low rpm. Just keep it in normal or quiet mode when you have the dog in the back and you should be fine.
