For sale is a carbon fiber and perforated leather steering wheel. This is made from real carbon fiber and not the fake hydro dipped "carbon look" stuff. This came off my 2020 GT PP2 Mustang. Was used for about 2000 miles. Still looks brand new. No scratches, discoloration, fading, etc...
I have a set of Steeda sport lowering springs for the S550 mustangs equipped with MagneRide suspension. I bought these for my PP2 but never installed them so they are brand new. Still wrapped in the plastic/foam. Gives a 1" drop on all 4 corners for the GT/Mach1 and a .5" drop on all 4...
Sounds really good. I have the factory active exhaust with a Steeda H-pipe but I'm ready for more volume. Don't really want to spend $2500 on a Corsa or Borla lol
I drove one with MR and one without it before I bought mine and there is a noticeable difference. If you're not going to heavily modify the car I say go with the one with MR. You won't regret it.
In regards to the market returning to normal, unfortunately I don't think it ever will. Seems like it's going to get worse before it improves. Just curious, what other cars were you looking at replacing the PP2 with?
Yep. Unfortunately my mother is in the situation now where she needs a car. Held on to her car for too long, the engine finally gave up so she needs to get something. She's also nearing retirement so she needs something that can fit her soon to be fixed income. I tried to talk her into...
Try Driveway. I think $41k is a good deal for a base PP2. How many miles do you have on it?
As for the Cup 2's. My dealer said the same thing. I took it in for my first oil change @ roughly 500 miles and the service guy told me to lay off the burnouts because I'm going to need tires soon...
Also, just wanted to comment on the car buying process being discussed. IMO, the best time to buy a car is when you don't NEED one. It's much easier to walk away from the deal if you don't like the number the dealer is giving you. Car buying is emotional so you have to remove your emotions...
OP, I have a 2020 PP2 as well and started kicking around the idea of selling it. I checked the online offerings (Vroom, Carvana, & Driveway) and I received the best offer from Driveway which was a little over $45K. Carvana $39k. Vroom $35K. My car is a loaded GT Premium with every option...
I'm in the same boat. I have the Steed H pipe and like it but I wish it was a bit louder and deeper in track mode. Plus I hate the OEM tips as well. I have the cash saved up just not sure if I want Corsa or Borla.
I'll add another vote for the Steeda H-pipe with active exhaust. I've had it on the car for over a year now and love it. Especially in track mode. I get some pops and crackles between shifts and throttle blips when i'm slowing to a stop.
OP, You did good. I just hit 4000 miles on my PP2 and I most likely won't make it through another summer here in Georgia on the original Cup 2s. Im debating if I want to go the PS4 route again even though I don't track the car and mainly only drive it during the warm months and don't drive it...
