Does anyone know the downforce created by the GT350r's wing versus the 2019 GT350 Swing with gurney flap?

Swing = spoiler and wing combined. I don't think it will even be close. A spoiler spoils lift, it does not create downward lift. The swing is mostly a spoiler whereas the R wing is a lift generating airfoil producing downward lift.

Not sure where this data came from, but seems legit, i've not seen numbers on the R wing though:

This unique wing offers an optional Gurney flap that can be bolted on to improve downforce. With the Gurney flap in place in a track configuration, the 2019 GT350 conjures up 53 pounds of front lift and 238 pounds of rear downforce at 120 mph. Put the car in a street configuration without the Gurney flap and those numbers change to 40 pounds of front lift and 135 pounds of rear downforce. The 2018 model created 64 pounds of front lift and 186 pounds of downforce.

found early claims of 2x the downforce of a GT3, which at 120mph would be around 400 lbs for the R wing... also sounds reasonable....but vague and not certain.

Thanks for the information! I searched everywhere and couldn't find it. I read your article on paint protection and I'm having it done next week. The front window and front end for $1,500. Unfortunately, I already got a small rock chip on the plastic nose the first day I got the car (it was on the return 300 mile road trip). I planned to just do a quick touch up, but since I have the magnetic grey (paint color J7) the touch up doesn't match! Its almost black. So I guess I'll live with it - which will drive me crazy. Yeah I could get it painted first, but another delay in driving it! Errr
