GR Corolla of course, but why not also include the second gen GR86/BRZ's that are hitting lots now? NA, Enough power to have fun with, a nice manual, RWD...

Also sharing the sentiment on the Fiesta ST and Veloster.

Fiesta ST is too small, Veloster is boring looking and I don’t trust Subaru boxers further than I can throw them.

Another vote for a Ford Focus RS. The build quality is much better than the Focus ST, ton of fun to drive, and in my opinion the best hot hatch you can buy under $40K. This would be my DD if not for the fact I drive a company car.

Get the 18 as it has a few extra goodies. Prices on the 18 RS are pretty high right now.

From those list, GR Corolla would be my first choice. But I'm thinking that most of us here would want the Circuit Edition, that won't be out until late 2023.

Well, this escalated quickly. With the CTR breaking its own track record at Suzuka, I’d say it’s, again, a bad@$$ ride that’s going to continue to set the bar.

Also, looking at the dash in the GR3 and comparing that to the artwork inside a 2022 Civic, it’s going to be hard for Toyota to top that.
