I would concur at that price. Unless it was involved in an accident.I think it is a scam.
The hero we needed!Maybe the odometer rolled over?
1,009,000.0 miles
Quarter million miles per year.
200 oil changes… that’s 2000 quarts of 5W-50.
$24,000.00 in just the oil purchase.
If they managed to squeak out 10K from the tires, that’s $250,000 in Michelins.
At 14 mpg, that’s ~$270,000.00 in premium fuel.
Good to hear old school customer service isn’t dead. Treat yourself, you deserve it!!It’s NO scam! I called the number listed, and spoke to a guy with a thick accent named Steve. They must be busy, cuz I heard plenty of folks in the background talking to people on phones. Steve said the car was still available, but has plenty of interest. He said he could hold the car for a $500.00 deposit. He graciously said he would handle the money transfer for the deposit if I simply gave him my a credit card. He also said he would deposit the $500 back into my back account if I provided my banking info. He will deposit it for me… that’s customer service right there…!
Looks like I’m getting an “R”…!!!
