Some of the pics I've seen of delivered Rs look like they have quite the fender gap going on. They didn't look like this at the track tour. Is this a variation from pre-production to production, will they settle or am I just seeing things? Any pics from the side of production cars?

That's my only complaint about the looks of the R. They have a one inch shorter tire height, so the gap is too big IMO. I'm sure that Ford Performance will have a set of springs out for them in a few months. They're supposedly in the works already.

You mean the source? Ford Performance stated that lowering springs were on the way at SEMA. The link to the information is lying around here somewhere.

yeah r and 350 got just as much gap as a gt if not more. lowering it would be the 1st thing I'd have to do if I got one.

I can assure you that my 350 has very little gap. It's not tight as in slammed, but it may be the best I've ever seen come from a factory

It would be nice to NOT have to lower a Mustang for once. :frusty:

I so hope this is the case. I don't want to mess with the suspension on this one like all my M3's.

One was delivered to my dealer last week, the psi required removing spacers from the springs that were installed for loading and unload on the hauler. Still sat a little high after sitting for a day though maybe it will settle more with some driving

I was thinking the same thing the other day. In still photos they look jacked up and on the track tour they look like they are slammed on the track

When I saw the title of this thread , I was thinking it was about an upcoming all wheel drive GT350R. I was all for an AWD GT350R. Then I realized I was sucked into a thread about the look of the GT350R.

^^^This is most likely the case, at work at BMW when the cars come off the truck most models are shipped with spacer's in the suspension for transport and get removed during the PDI process.
