  1. Tickford S550 - 536 hp/466 lb/ft....from a tune!

Have you seen their dyno chart? It shows the car on the stock tune making peak power at 5500RPM, then plunging immediately after that. There are so many weird things and weird claims about this that you’d have to be at least healthily skeptical. Even better, still no real world or third party...
  2. Tickford S550 - 536 hp/466 lb/ft....from a tune!

^Those seem like massively inconvenient results. LOL
  3. Tickford S550 - 536 hp/466 lb/ft....from a tune!

Not even close to what the power gain is from forced induction, and it’s similar to full bolt-on E85 cars we’ve already seen. There’s not going to be so much stress that the motor shouldn’t be able to make a few passes.
  4. Tickford S550 - 536 hp/466 lb/ft....from a tune!

Again, where are you guys “hearing” this from, and where is the data you’re “digging on” to develop your opinions? That’s all I’m asking for.
  5. Tickford S550 - 536 hp/466 lb/ft....from a tune!

What I’m saying is that we need more data. A 15.25% power gain, practically throughout the entire power curve to boot, with only a tune on good pump gas is extremely unlikely. It seems to me that I’m being healthily skeptical, willing to admit that it’s true with some data, and many people here...
  6. Tickford S550 - 536 hp/466 lb/ft....from a tune!

Forget the whp versus bhp debate, just figure it on a percentage. They gained 15.25%. That percentage should translate pretty closely to most any corrected dyno figure, barring some kind of extreme conditions. Let’s take the example of 436whp given above. With their tune only, on let’s say 95...
  7. Tickford S550 - 536 hp/466 lb/ft....from a tune!

For everyone trying to say maybe it’s the potential 1-2 extra octane AKI, just stop. E85 has been used to tune by others, and it’s equivalent to roughly 110-116 AKI. That said, I’d like to believe this as much as anyone, but it’s highly unlikely. If someone can convince them to send logged MAF...
  8. PHOTO HEAVY: First Production 2019 Bullitt in Cincinnati, OH, Area

Looks great, but does anyone know if they’ve updated the shift forks on the 2019 manuals yet? Considering that the Bullitt only comes in manual, that seems fairly important.
  9. Comp Orange Shelby Build - Frankenstang

    Checking in. Any new details?
  10. Comp Orange Shelby Build - Frankenstang

So, are you estimating that your E85 pull would’ve read approximately 450-460 on this hub dyno? Just wondering about the ~10% figure you quoted.
  11. 2018 PP GT third party Dyno results!

That’s by far the highest stock 2015 SAE pull I’ve ever seen at RA, and the 2018 is still up 35whp/36wtq.
  12. 2018 PP GT third party Dyno results!

I know it’s not back to back, but RA has multiple dynos of stock 2015-2017 manuals using SAE correction. They’re right around the 375whp/350wtq range. The 2018 is definitely looking like more than 25bhp/20tq had been added versus the old motor. The power curve is much prettier too.
  13. New 2018 Coyote 5.0 Engine...

If not the exact intake manifold, I'm sure it will probably be similar to the GT350 manifold.
  14. POLL: Guess MY18 Power Level!

I'm guessing that they're going to have the GT350 intake, TB, and CAI now. The power from that, plus the increase from 11:1 to 12:1 compression should bump the GT to the advertised 7500RPM redline and bring power into the 470-480 range with more low end power than before. I voted 475 since it's...
  15. New 2018 Coyote 5.0 Engine...

With the little bit of info out there for the 2018 5.0 upgrades, I'm guessing that they're going to have the GT350 intake, TB, and CAI now. The power from that, plus the increase from 11:1 to 12:1 compression should bump the GT to the advertised 7500RPM redline and bring power into the 470-480...
  16. Is there an updated Voodoo coming for MY 2019?

The new fuel system would help with that. Cylinder cooling is one of the main advantages to using direct injection. Even if the CR stayed at 12:1, I think DI would give them an opportunity to tune more aggressively. I really hope Ford uses this engine for more than three years after all that...
  17. Is there an updated Voodoo coming for MY 2019?

I think what they said was that direct injection rather than port injection didn't offer enough pros over cons in a naturally aspirated engine. With a combination style injection system though, that's addressed. They will already have the hardware for it because of the 2018 Mustang GT too...
  18. Is there an updated Voodoo coming for MY 2019?

Does anyone think that the Voodoo will follow the Coyote path next year, and gain the direct injection/port injection combo with a bump in compression? A 13:1 or 14:1 compression ratio could be feasible with the new fuel system. Maybe 550+ stock horsepower with better low end.
  19. *NEW* Stainless Works 1 7/8th Headers for GT350 NOW AVAILABLE!

Looks like a catted header system was tested there. The baseline was stock with stock tune.
