I'm in severe need of tires and buying a house so want to keep it relatively cheap. There seems to be very little in the way of options so I'm trying to find something that won't cost $1700 installed. I don't track the car and it's my daily so not looking for slicks. I also have very good winter tires so would only bad weather the tires would see is rain.

Does anyone out there know if these will fit:

I have 305/35/19 Nitto G2's on mine, not my first pick but there was a tire shortage and I HAD to get tires on last year before the weather went to freezing (we don't get much snow/ice here so a true AS tire isn't a need for me). Anyway, the treadwear and price vs the traction loss is a pretty good deal. They will squeak a bit on hard shifts, but for the average daily drive you won't push 'em past their limit.

I use the A/S 3+ as my "winter" tires. I'm in TN and the Shelby stays parked in the rare winter ice/snow scenarios, I just wanted tires that are ok at low temps. I have 285/35 not 285/30 and they fit the stock wheels all around.

Since I live in the NorthEast I wanted to have an All-Season tire to drive around all year and not worry about cold/wet conditions. I went with 305 square Cooper RS3-G1. Happy with the tire but would have loved to go with Mich PS4S but not taking a chance in the cold. There are no other ultra high performance all seasons in a 305 or 315 19 inch size that I'm aware of.

Hereā€™s an alternative. Maybe $1600 installed so not quite what youā€™re looking for butā€¦

The DWS is good. I had them on my previous S4.

I assume you need tires for your 2012 GT500, not a GT350.
Donā€™t know if it would make much of a difference, but it may to someoneā€™s response.

You are not going to get the size you need much cheaper for decent tires.
True. Of course thereā€™s a range of acceptable performance and a separate range of acceptable cost. Find the tires that fit In the overlapping area. And, please, tires are not the place to cheap out. Not on any car. And certainly not on a Shelby.

You could always go with some Forceums or Comforsers :giggle:

I run Mich AS4s squared in 285/40/19 and it works great! The little bit of extra ground clearance is really nice for daily driving.

I have a full set of stock MPSS tires (2 fronts and 2 rears) that were manufactured a while ago, but have been stored in a climate control shop. LMK if interested.
