Hey guys,
Anyone have a link (forum search) to how long the tires last for the GT350? I've searched but no luck.

But just in case the search comes to no avail....I have 18k on my car and no track. Went to Sams club to check out the thread on my tires and they said the passengers are legally bald but the front driver side is still good but forgot what they said about the driver back side. Let me know how long everyone else had on their non tracked tires before replacing their tires.

Thanks in advance.

The rear tires wear faster than the fronts if you do mostly daily driving. I swapped wheels and tires at 11,500 miles and took tread depth readings every couple thousand miles along the way. The MPSS rears appear to have about 2000-3000 miles left on them. The fronts appear to have about 5000-6000 miles left. That is after a few autocross weekends and daily driving. I think it would be difficult to get more than 18K from a set and have any safe tread left.

I got 22,150 miles out of my stock Super Sports front and rear. They were toasted. No track days, just daily driven since last October.

I win.

I put on a brand new set of Goodyear F1 3R tires (standard on ZL1 1LE), 250 street miles, plus 30 track miles at WSIR track. outside front corded....

to be fair... WSIR is famous for eating outside front tire, and super abrasive.

Ouch! Was that like 2 track sessions? What front camber were you running?

I got 23,000 KM out of my stock ss with a lot of highway driving and 3 track days. They wear out in the center of the rears and the inside edge of the fronts. In my last wheel alignment I took some toe out of the front. If all you do is daily that would be a good way to milk an extra bit of life out of your tires.

As for tracking. If you track the PSS on a hot day you will wear them quick. Up here in Canada most track days it's only 8-16C out so the tires don't get as hot and don't wear as quick on track days.

Just in case anyone is wondering about track use - I got 10 track days and 7,000 street miles out of my fronts. I’m at 14 track days + 7,000 miles on the rears. I expect another 2-4 days out of them.
