the surge comes when rolling in progressively harder on the throttle around 2500-3500 RPM and maybe 70% throttle. normal part throttle and full throttle are fine without any adjustments. you almost have to make it surge, but still, it shouldn't do it.
Gotcha......I'll make sure I pay attention to this scenario when I datalog tomorrow.

greg has been helping to dial my tune in, and after a few iterations to fix driver demand and surging, everything looks and feels good on 92 octane. well, except for a false knock condition that was pulling 3deg of timing @ WOT above 6000; gone now after i removed the a/c nut/bolt/bracket that was rubbing on the passenger side header.

i'm heading to the dyno on saturday with a tank full of E85, datalogging, and will post results. my setup:

GT350 IM
GT350 TB
FRPP 47lb/hr Injectors
SW 1 7/8 LTH
High Flow Cats
SW Catback
Airraid CAI
Lund Flexfuel Tune
Have you dynoed your car yet, interested to see what you make with headers installed

Okay so just to get some clarification before I buy..

I will need:
GT350 IM (Duh)
Stock TB adapter (As I plan on running the stock TB)
4" coupler for the JLT intake?

Does this sound right?

dont need the 4" coupler if you still have your stock TB because the 4" coupler is for a bigger TB

Oh okay. So just everything but the coupler. And of course a tune revision.

I'm interested to see the difference in the Dyno graphs between the stock TB and the GT350 TB.

I put my intake on today with the gt350 t/b and a set of 47lb injectors. This thing surges like crazy at 1/2 throttle. I have to go back over everything tomorrow to make sure I did not miss anything. I had a bad feeling I would end up one of the ones with surging issues

HPT is another tuner? They good?
it's software that can be used to tune your car. a tuner's ability to leverage the power of HPT varies widely, but in the right hands it really whips the llama's ass :)

As promised: (all runs still on 93 octane, as I dont have ready access to e85)

4th gear pull comparing gt350tb to OEM:

5th gear pull:

I think with the ported oem throttle body the pull will continue I'll know for sure this time next week, which will include the optimized stock tb as well as headers
