I think that having a local tuner is going to become more important with these manifolds. Someone is going to have to spend some time on a dyno dialing in VCT and fueling.

Putting my 350 intake ,TB and 47 lb injectors in this week. Is it safe with stock motor revving to around 7800 - 8000 rpm?

My local tuner is tuning these but still having issues with surging, auto's specifically. I will not live or deal with a car that surges, been there done that with cars in the past. Losing tq down low is no good either. A few years back, I had a 05 C6 with a VR, FAST, full exhaust, making 410rwhp/407rwtq SAE. I was running [email protected] in the 1/8th. Low end tq was great but I wanted more, added a custom cam, made 450rwhp/407rwtq SAE, mph went up to near 95 but though the peak tq was same, the overall loss of low end tq made it no fun on the street. Had to keep in the high end rpm range and though it worked at the track, the street manners were not good. Is that what is expected out of the GT350 intake? I'd rather have low end usable tq. As it is, my auto with headers is a bit weak on low end tq anyway.

Get ahold of Higgs Boson. He solved the surging issues with the 350 TB. He shared his results on the HP tuners forum.

Idk how you lost TQ with your cam in your vette. My ls3 with a Kaotik cam from
Vengeance racing was an absolute beast. Low rolls, digs thing was awesome lol. Typical big cam surge way down low in 6th gear at like 1200 rpm but that's to be expected. Every time I talk about my vette I think about selling my mustang and getting another lol. 130 trap speed with bolt ons and a
Cam was the shit!

Fuck that Sam guy no one likes him ;) I'm jk I love you. As for people concerned with track results I track my car all the time and I have time slips on top of piles of time slips in all kinds of DA ranging from -700 to positive 3500 to compare to. So I will make a huge write up once I get it dialed in next week Dyno it and bring it to the track

I say lost, it moved it to the right of the curve if that makes sense. So tq didn't start till later in the RPM band, same peak torque but driving on the street, it was not as fun. It ran 1.5 mph faster in the 1/8th alone but I had to drive it differently....which is fine for a track car, not so much for a street car IMO.

I agree with you on the Vette, I was so close to picking up a used C6Z06 or C7 but couldn't find the C6Z I was looking for and just didn't want to pay for a new C7, so I got a new 2015 Mustang GT. As for my C6, I was copying my buddy in his 05 C6 convertible, which he still races, runs 10.7's@127-128 with head/cam combo, fully streetable. Has like 90,000+ miles on it and it still runs almost 130, no issue.

If I go through with it, I will. I was hoping my old tuner, AED will solve the problem as he is now tuning the 15+ Mustangs. I have less time for racing but would certainly like to get back into it if I can get this car where I want it.
