It is, it also wont allow your ecu to advance the timing past base...the knock sensors will indicate 0 throughout a pull, so your car should actually get faster after turning off the imrc codes,.....what did he tune you with, sct or hp tuners?
Based on what im seeing in the datalogs it should be a pretty good gain across the board, i dont like to speculate so ill get the dyno done....regarding the previous pics im pretty sure its because the host site i was using now wants fees to post pics elsewhere...know of any free host sites left?
theyre basic m6 x 1.0 bolts, not sure on the length, but should be an easy find at lowes or home depot, also snugged up by hand is all thats needed a tq wrench isn't necessary.
Havent had a chance to dyno the car yet, im gonna try to get it done this coming friday...the car definetly feels faster, ill post a comparison between the gt350 and cobrajet manifold as well as some install pics (slightly different route than everyone else)
I keep seeing people refer to the cmcv plates as a means to boost low end torque......they flat out dont, once you request wot the ecu pulls the cmcv plates flat...they are no factor at all during wot pulls of any sort
I too have in my possesion an f150 manifold (lightly ported) and will...
The above post is correct, there are some changes that can be made to the vct to accommodate the longtube install, but nothing that will break the bank in terms of power gain
After killing 3rd gear in mine (clutch went in the car Nov 16..3rd gear left the building middle of June 17)...i spoke with ben calimer and went with his recommendation of the Exedy stage 3 with a warranty rebuilt trans...no special parts used
The dyno sheet you have there is from a comparison i did for Lund...i kept all conditions (coolant, iat, etc) as,close as possible to show the difference between the 2 tbs, these runs were with pypes catted longtubes, steeda cai, and locked timing (27 degrees)
That is my car he is speaking of, it was a regular wot 2-3 shift, I don't no-lift shift the car, I will say there was no type of warning this was on the verge of happening, the car drove fine trans shifted wonderfully, this failure was out of nowhere......After speaking with Ben Calimer he says...
Because the car senses the rear wheels moving while the front tires remain stationary and reports it as a fault, and goes into a limp mode...i watched my first stock pull hp get cut in half on the second pull because of this....pulled the fuse and no more issue
I did a test some time ago using different filtering elements on a stock size MAF....the one included with the MMR is too small for the coyote, I tried the exact filter included with the kit....If you datalog or even use an OBD scanner that will display fuel trims, you will see the same thing I...
Terminator2 check your tune parameters out, i had the same issue chasing a lean condition up top and was seeing absurdly high maf flow numbers as well....because youre kicking the period value up but not directly affecting the actual fueling....it took a couple revisions before i realized i was...
Prepare yourself to replace the clutch, had the same high rpm, rattle, without balancer/opg install...the factory clutch doesnt like rpm i made a thread showing how my clutch finally slung all material off at the top of a 3rd gear shift at the track
Will do....finally fed the horse some corn last night and thus far the car feels faster and datalogs support it....i will redyno on corn before cams after the install i plan on doing a 93 oct vs e85 dyno
