yes, gt350 intake manifold. stock throttle body. gonna take it back in a couple weeks for them to try and get the gt350 throttle body to work and work on the tune some more
Aren't people with same mods. Making the same power wise on stock intake?

think so but if its not the same dyno on the same day i am not gonna worry about it. the big thing with the gt350 intake is not peak horsepower but it makes a ridiculous amount more to redline. my baseline was 385 so thats a peak gain of 55hp

Do you notice the TQ loss and was it just peak loss, or what did the rest of the graph look like? Track results should be interesting, hopefull DA and temps are similar.

i picked up torque across the board but with the simultaneous header install not sure what just the intake wouldve done. peak torque was up by 20

driveability is pretty good. the tune still needs some tweaks cause i do have some surging when driving normal. when i get on it, it is strong and pulls hard all the way through the rev range. i havent stretched it out past 7500, read not to push it past that without changing oil pump gears and some other things to keep the motor form going, but feel like it will make useable power past 7500 with those changes

interesting, I hear mixed things on this. Some say it should be fine up near 8k rpms as the motor has the same basic parts as the boss 302 and as long as youre not bouncing off the limiter and/or boosted. Then I read posts like this where they say not to rev past 7500 rpms. I wonder what the actual limitations are.

it seems fine but ive noticed surging when going uphill at low rpms. im curious to see what it does with cruise control on. going to the track tomorrow nite i think the 3.15 gears might hold me back a little.

lost torque between 3500-4500 but my tuner got some back with tuning. butt dyno feels a little less torque.

you would be fine up to 7800 rpm without changing oil pump gears. dont worry too much. after 8k though youll need them.

I've had my gt350 intake on for a few months now and picked up 3-4 mph on a crap tune at the track. I got the tune lined out a little better and went back and ran a 11.50 with a 1.70 60 time. Revving to 7500 and clutch was slipping a little.

That was a couple months ago and haven't been back. I haven't been doing much with the car but driving it. I do have a new tune that spins 8100 an have been running it for a month or two and it reall pulls harder up that high. I look forward to going back to the track and trying to get the 60 ft down and see the gains with the 8100. I feel that is where I feel the most gain.

Running a GT350 IM and TB. ARH 1 7/8 catless header and full exhaust. JDM tuned. Runs awesome. 454 HP. Pull hard all the way to 7800. No track times yet.
