Everyone's replies and help are very much appreciated ! Thank you.

As far as the battery tender, I do not plan on taking the battery out of the gt 350 and charging it, so can I just charge it from under the hood ? I know I can just put the question out there to see how most of you guys are doing it.

Next question is I do not have a harbor freight in maine. Is there any other place you can buy work mats that are large enough to park the gt 350 on without backing in and out of the garage ten times, Lowes or Home Depot ?
The HF item is cheap, but only available in store. These are the ones I have:
https://www.harborfreight.com/4-piece-anti-fatigue-foam-mat-set-94635.html

Amazon sells similar stuff for a bit more money:
https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics...1548351988&sr=8-3-acs&keywords=floor+work+mat

These squares are large enough that you can easily park on them. What I did was to park my car as usual, mark where the tires are with chalk, then back the car out, put the mats down on the chalk marks, then put the car back. Easy.

As for battery tender, look at this one: cheap and works great https://www.amazon.com/Battery-Tend...6&sr=1-16-spons&keywords=battery+tender&psc=1

I hard wire ends to the batteries of all my cars for easy connections
https://www.amazon.com/Battery-Tend...id=1548352216&sr=1-12&keywords=battery+tender

Search around, this has been discussed here a lot.

My process is similar to what others have mentioned... clean, dry, battery tender, full of fresh (non-ethanol) fuel, tires up to 50 lbs, and a cover. To that I add that it's stored in a heated shop that is kept at 60+ degrees and is in a CarJacket (with desiccant pouches) to extract moisture out of the air in the bag.

Thank you very much for the reply and the pictures of the gt 350 on the work mats with the hood up ! Thank you, that is a big help !

Do you have anything under the work mats to elevate the gt 350 ? And do you keep the hood up for the entire winter storage ?

Nothing is under the mats.

I would not leave a hood open long term. Some do if they have bad rodent problems since rodents hate light, but aside from that, it's down and covered, ALWAYS.

(I actually use a softer, thicker cover than the OEM one, I use the Noah, but this looks better in pics)

Thank you.

Do You run the battery tender up under near the headlights and connect that way or just hook up the battery tender from the top and let the hood rest on top of the battery tender cable ?

As far as the cover goes my GT 350 was just delivered actually one week ago, close carrier. It is in my 60 degree garage right now. Unfortunately I have concrete floors, as most people do, so I do get that very light debris/dust on the paint. The guy I have that is going to do my detail work and paint citrus coat in the spring asked me not to cover the car because the cover would actually leave very light dust scratches from where the cover interacts with the dust film and the paint ?

I run the wire from battery, down fender, out by headlights to the floor. i often don't fully latch the hood, just close it to the first catch. This way I never accidentally drive out of the garage with the battery tender still plugged in. Plus, it saves me a few secs when I am ready to unplug it since I don't have to go inside the car to unlatch the hood.

I use a super soft cover that helps protect the finish from the harsh material of the CarJacket - it's a "Form-Fit" from Covercraft and is actually a bit like spandex for the car. Mrs. Muligan calls it the snuggy.

My battery tender harness is connected directly into the batter - though I know that some prefer to do it through the fuse box. Here is where the plug connects to the cord that goes along the inside of the fender and out from under the point at the leading edge of the fender over the passenger headlight. This allows me to completely close the hood. You can see the wire and the connector in the lower right of this picture where it comes out from behind the wrapped wiring harness - note the zip tie holding the battery tender harness....

Along with the others, here is ours up on stands to install driveshaft & shifter. Complete now & this is how we will be winterizing the 350 every year. Takes the load off of tires & suspension plus an annual oil change. Might even slow down those darn spiders!LOL

My car was parked for nearly 5 months last year. Filled the tires up to ~40 and parked on some carpet squares (stacked a few up), no flat spots at all when I finally got to drive it. Similar to what was mentioned above, I hook up a Battery Tender and add some Sta-Bill to the tank which I fill with non-ethanol gas. After all that, put on the cover and dream about spring.

+1
Only difference is I use a bubble, great insurance against temp change condensation in the garage.

Wow, impressive care some of you take of your cars! Mine's just parked. It does have a battery tender hooked up, but other than that it's ready to drive in case we get a nice day, snow tires and all.

Fuel stabilizers are useless. They do nothing to prevent phase separation which is the major problem with enhanced fuels.
