We had a track rental event yesterday at Houston Raceway Park. I had gone a best of 11.32 @ 122.9 in great weather on stock tune so I was hoping for some consistent 11.0 passes after the Lund e85 tune and resonator delete x-pipe.
I started the day running 11.02 @ 124. My next run, I didn't get a very good burnout and spun a bit on the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts. Ran an 11.09 @ 125. Next run was 11.02 @ 125. I hot-lapped it before lunch break and ran 11.04 @ 125. My last attempt and last opportunity of the day, I ran a 10.99 @ 125!
Mods: Lund e85 race tune (30.5* timing), Steeda resonator delete x-pipe, K&N drop-in filter (stock air box), Forgestar F14 17x4.5 on Hoosier Drag Front bias ply, 17x9 chrome bullets on MT ET Street bias ply, BMR IRS lockouts, BMR IRS braces, BMR driveshaft safety loop, an old rear seat delete kit from my S197, and JLT catch can..
I had passenger seat out, rear seats out, and trunk emptied.
I arrived at the track a bit over 1/2 tank of e85. Finished the day around 3/8 full.
