10s on Motor?

Me no my goal is 10:90's, but the car i saw last night, the sound of it was like no other 5.0 i have ever heard..i stood 5 ft from it...it sounded like a nascar engine.. He ran a 10.19 and he spun out the gate doing it.

I never got s chance to talk to the guy because a made a few passes myself after isaw him run..

It's not planned at the moment, but I am trying to source some 350 heads for cost. We'll see what it makes, then go from there. These heads flow very well in stock form, so it's not high on the list of priorities.

i was at cecil county dragway last night there was a dib all motor 5.0 no nos it ran 10.19's it was bad ass ....my build in 2 weeks should break the 10's...

all the parts are as follows:


1) rev auto stage3 heads, (cnc port and polish multi angle valve job, with deck cleanup).
2) Ferrea oversized 1.500(38mm+1mm) stainless steel intake valves.
3) Ferrea oversized 1.262 (32mm +1mm) Stainless steel exhaust valves.
4) Boss 302 valve springs with new ford valve seals fully assembled.
5) Comp Cams stage 3 coyote cr series nsr cams n/a.
6) Ford performance gt-350 intake and 87 mm t/b.
7) Jlt cai.
8) tss billet op gears.
9) American racing l/t catted x pipe 3 inch dia. long system.
9a) American racing pure thunder axlebacks
10) 6r80 pro series stage 3 245mm circle d 5c Converter.
11) Ford racing half-shaft axle assemblies.

What color and year was he car? I saw a red 2011-14 running low 10s on Motor but it was lightweight.

I was deep impact blue a 15 with squared slicks...

I saw a red 11-14 that sounded mean but it was on open headers. He was running mid to low 10s spinning. It was a manual

Is there a n/a revival going on, because i'm seeing a lot more guys doing this...i'm coming off a 2012 gt paxton car which was very fast. i just wanted to do something different with my new car.

Pinero61 what oil you plan on using? i'm going with Amsoil sig series synthetic 5w-50 and an Amsoil hd filter....
