Thank you! I'm going to disable keyless entry day 1 for sure .
Hopefully this update can be applied to 15-17 cars in a future patch too.

Or you can be EXTRA cautious and leave it in the pouch as well... you never know
Good point. The car will still start keyless even if entry is disabled; and they might find another way in.

Thats the only thing i have not bought yet due to needing that info myself. It does say that small fits most cars on the website
I use a disklok, the small size fits fine

Can never protect the car too much, too many s**tbags about :punch:

Why disable the keyless entry - what extra security do you think this affords?

I’m using a pouch on my hire car and it’s working fine, can’t open the door or start it if it’s in the pouch

Yep, pouches arrived yesterday and tested them with the Vette fob - can't open the door.

Whoever thought keyless entry was a good idea? This is definitely a case of unnecessary gimmicky tech.
Well said. I have been thinking this for some time ever since Range Rover Evoques had a habit of going missing when they first came out. I have to say I hate the fucking keyless entry - how is this any more convenient than pressing an unlock button on the fob ffs:headbang:

Anyone know if you can order a new mustang without keyless??

MY18s come with the ability to disable keyless (check further up the page where I show how)

It helps the marketing team sell the car. Your average Joe loves a gimmick. Same with automatic wipers and headlights

If you're going to buy a Mustang/nice car and not have/park it in a garage, shouldn't buy one.
My neighbour religiously parks his cars in his garage when not in use, about 10 years ago thieves tried to steal one by kicking the front door in, they didn't get through the door but having it in a garage didn't put them off, if they really want it they'll follow you home,

US garages will be mustang sized, most UK garage doors are barely wide enough to fit the car through the gap let alone be able to get out of it when it's in there

There's more chance of damaging it driving in and out than there is of it being stolen
