Hey all,

just wanted to see what y'all have done to hide this or any thoughts/opinions on the best ways to do so. It’s just such an eye sore lol, I know it’s “hidden” in the trunk, but still.

Is there room in your spare tire well to mount it in there?

I ran mine like this. Take the liners out of the trunk, and run the wires behind them. I'll get a picture when I get home for you. This way you can still use your trunk space, and install a spare tire (which you can't if you put the controller in the spare well)

I then used these super strong magnet wire clips to hold everything. They swivel and keep everything well organized and safe

I did mine like this. (Obviously I have a different controller, but same idea) Now I just need to figure out a cover, probably something wrapped in carpet that has hinges, so it swings down for easy access, but protects the controller and wiring from getting bumped. I never really have anything in the trunk, but as you can see this controller has exposed power and ground terminals

Kinda off topic but along the lines of the fuel system. When I had Fore set me up the recommended fuel system for my applications I just recently noticed they had me on 274 pumps oppose to the 285. Kit was just ordered so I'm having it switched out. Is everyone running the 285 fuel pumps? The $$ is not much more.

You can see some of the comparisons here. The 285 draws quite a bit more current than the 274, for not much more flow. It's going to create a lot more heat in the fuel. If you aren't trying to make 1200+ wheel with two pumps, go with the 274's.

I'm running twin 274's for 15K miles, with plenty of headroom on 93. Radium bucket that came with the Arcane stage 2 set-up. I just ran from the Baltimore area to Lexington, South Carolina and back Friday and Saturday. Not a hiccup.
