Mach1 A10 and averaged 24.5mpg for my delivery trip home from Iowa to Nor Cal. Was doing better than that before we hit Utah and Nevada's 80mph speed limits and bumped up the average speed and lowered the mpg. All on 91 octane.

that’s amazing! It’s all about how you drive it. I was getting 16mpg on my 14gt but if I drove it nice I could get 20-21 easily.

I won’t feel the hit of the Mach 1 mpg that much, I am getting 17 mpg on my beater Honda right now lol this thing is not only slow but eats fuel like a v8 lol (ps it’s an old worn out engine 180k miles)

Your probably just enjoying the wonderful sound of acceleration and not coasting down hills.

2019 GT with 3.15 gears. Avg 16.9 mpg with letting it warm up 10 minutes and driving in sport mode. But when I wanna cruise I can Avg 29 mpg on the highway at 70 mph. Not to bad gets better gas mileage than my Bronco
Curious the thought process on a 10 min warm up

yeah it’s not necessary to warm up modem engines. It has been proven that It’s better to drive off(nicely), you want to get to operating temps to minimize wear since most wear occurs while engine is warming up.

I don't have a Mach 1 but on a road course my GT gets about 7, depending on the track.

I don't know what the fuck I'm doing wrong 😭. 6spd mixed (Highway/City), normal mode.
First of all, do not get confused by the guys driving an auto and posting their great MPGs. 10R80 can keep you cruising at 1.500 RPM all the time. It is not fun but it is efficient.

Second, if you want to know what your Coyote can do (in terms of the MPG), turn on the Ford shift indicator (the green arrow) and follow its advice meticulously. This could bring your MPG down significantly.

Third, city definitely takes its toll. I believe it is the downtimes, stopping at the lights (and then moving again), driving in the traffic jam at walking speed, etc.

My best shot so far was 12.6L/100 km (18.7 US MPG, 22.4 UK MPG), when driving on a country road and keeping at low RPM with occasional spirited moment.

My past two month average is around 14L/100km (16.8 US MPG, 20.2 UK MPG), this for city and spirited highway (~100 mph).

Funny thing I realized when I was converting my consumption from L/100km to MPG, there are two quite different MPGs for US and for UK, but I never noticed anyone explicitly specifying which MPG they used. I guess it is contextual, and you probably understand each other, but it is definitely not very helping for an outsider :).

Just to add: The consumption I mentioned above is calculated off-line by myself from the distance and how much gas I had to put in to cover that distance. The onboard computer is a bit off sometimes.

I don’t warm up the car per se, I takeoff right away but I do not get on it until the transmission is warmed up. That’s just me.

I've gotten over 23 at a 60-65 cruise, and 21 at 80mph. with gurney flap on, tremec.

I get about 13 or so around town.

Soooo…after 600 miles here are my numbers…can’t wait to be done with break in period.

I have a 10r80, non HP.

Highway between 65-70mph around 29-31mpg (I’m in flat Florida, lol).

Above 75mph it goes down to around 23-25mpg.

City driving is about 16-17mpg. Full tank it shows 270 miles to empty. My EB used to show around 320. 50miles difference, I’m pretty pleased with it.

I drive in sport mode most of the time. Normal mode is more conservative, but I want to enjoy the car :)

Take the flap out, you should get better MPG, that’s too much drag.

Also the Tremec has different gears.

Here are my numbers after more than 6000km. First photo is the current average consumption reset after the last refill

The next two are my trip 1 and trip 2 values, reset quite a long time ago.

You can see total mileage on the bottom left so it is pretty accurate I guess.

Yep, keep you foot out of it until you hit operating temps., then go for it. Old cars wouldn't drive well until warmed up, and could stall and stuff, especially manual choke cars.
