Am I crazy fuel door

So I just set up my Ford pass account and turned on location in the app and all that. My Mach 1 needed gas and the light was on because I only had 25 miles to empty. So I go to the gas station and when I got out of the car the fuel door was popped open. Is this some sort of feature? The car knew it needed gas and it also knew it was at a gas station? True or false?

No it was not all the way open and no it was not open from the last time I got gas. It came straight from my garage to the gas station.

Mine pops open easily when I’m wiping/cleaning the car.
(Just running a microfiber cloth across it, pops it open)

Come to think of it my wife did lean against the car this morning when we were in the garage. I was thinking to myself she could scratch the paint. She was right by the fuel door.

Last time I went to get gas, when I came back from paying I went to open the fuel door and it was already popped open and I know I didnt do it, just thought someone was messing with me. I did go to a gas station that was marked on my GPS, might have a smarter car than I thought!
