I have non hp auto, with the gurney flap spoiler installed. Run 93 only. Daily work commute is 20 miles, with about 15 being highway (80-90mph.). After it's warmed up I drive it like I stole it. Getting 17.1 over 2500 miles. Also only use sport or sport+ settings, I find the regular d mode bogs down too much.

The mileage is a bit disappointing IMO, even for what it is. I was hoping it would get at least as good of mileage as my old 2015 GT PP, thinking that the direct injection might make up for the more aggressive tuning on freeway cruising, but it seems to be marginally worse. I think I'm probably getting quite close to the EPA estimates, which I was really hoping were on the conservative side.

I have 21.2 MPG in my 4000 miles with auto and the gurney flap. I do drive a lot of highway miles though.

10,000 miles, no track. You will get 24 mpg on the interstate if you dont drive like a fool, and 12.8 mpg in the city. Average after 1 year, 16.8. I live in the suburbs, but it is still 12 traffic lights a mile. So the correct answer is...It depends on where you drive and how you drive it. And it is a manual.
Those are realistic numbers and exactly what I get with a Roush Phase 2 supercharger.

Here's a quick one for you guys... on my 2012 BMW M3 I would pay north of 80 USD (Dubai gas Prices) to fill up the tank when its completely empty. today I just got my Mustang Mach 1 and I filled it up for literally half the price with the same 98 Octan unleaded fuel. Is that because the Mustang has a smaller fuel tank than the BMW?

I have about 3000k miles and the lifetime average so far is about 20 mpg. Best is 24mpg doing 80mph constant. Worst is maybe 17 mpg from lots of city driving and this is all with the Tremec.

I've had the gurney flap installed for the past 500 miles. Not sure what the impact is on MPG, but if it was my guess, maybe a 5% penalty at speeds > 75 mph

No, they are pretty similar, Mustang has 65 liters, BMW M3 seems to have 60 liters.

Though I'm kinda wondering about that too, I filled yesterday 55 liters and computer was showing only 25 km left, seems to have some hidden reserve of about 50 km...

With the bigger Shelby GT350 throttle body, and intake this was probably expecting a bit much, even with the direct injection theoretical offset. Keep in mind you are making significantly more power over the 2015 GT

On the 6Spd side it seems to be the case that we can beat the EPA MPG estimates by a wide margin in cruise on the hwy. I have matched or slightly edged out my S197s (3.73 gears apples to apples) hwy mpg with the M1 as indicated in dash. You will will need to be delicate with throttle and use cruise control. It seems the fuel consumption is very sensitive to even slight gradient changes, so if you are heading up a hill a bit, you pay a significant penalty, that said on level ground I was pleasantly surprised by cruise MPG.

There are times when I feel like "hey car gods I will trade you the 20HP for some MPGs..." but this depends on my mood.

ok now you confused me even more man. So you're saying the Mustang has a bigger tank yet I'm paying 80 USD to fill up the BMW M3 and 40 USD to fill up the Mustang Mach 1 when both are completely empty?

So far I have gotten from 15 to 28 mpg in my 6M GT, using 87 octane. As they say, YMMV depending on use and conditions. Just a bit.
