Forscan problem

Hey everyone,

I went to connect the GT500 to forscan for the first time and got an error message. It seems that forscan doesn't recognize the pcm.

Anyone else run across this?

Is it the same computer and dongle you used last time? When you first connect, it should ask you if you want to use the memorized PCM file.

I have never connected forscan to the 500 yet. It works fine with all the 350Rs.

I have not had to enter anything, I simply open Forscan with the Bluetooth dongle plugged in and if works without issue. It asks if I want to connect to “ fill in your car & vin”.

My version isn't the latest, but its recent.... so I'll try updating forscan. I'm trying to avoid the whole license thing again.

I don't see how you are getting it to work if your license has expired.

I sent you a screencap of your VIN in ETIS a while back, IIRC. The PCM calibration was listed there.

OK, I'll have a look. I wasn't aware of such a thing.

Nope, neither the assembly part number or software part number worked.

I Googled this issue and there are a few examples with no solution that I could find.

I figured it out. I had to update forscan

I was gonna say, I've used Forscan to disable double honk on mine. Glad you got it working.
