Yeah, however my concern is that it might take several miles for the car to learn the tune. I hope not or else the post install dyno run won't be accurate..

Thanks! I would hope that the fuel/timing/cams would not be effected. As we all know even going to the same dyno on different days can effect results.

Look out if the car command the 6-7 gearshift at redline or before. The stock mapping kills the powerband when the 7 is shifting because its before 7000.

Would hope atleast the ford performance tune adressing this and lifting the 260 km/h top speed aswell. At bare minimum

The only thing that should "learn" is the transmission

Wouldn't the dyno run be done at 1 to 1 gear ratio? 7th for auto and 5th for manual.

I would not think that it would be normal to take it up through each the gear to redline.

It's 4th on the '18 and up manual GTs.

Hey, does anyone know when the Ford Performance tune for the 2018+ Mustang GT will come out? I'm interested in a tune, but I'm not a mad performance focused racing guy, I just want to look into the increased response, power, and efficiency, etc. I also like my warranty and that pretty much leaves me with the Ford Performance tune; however, it's been like 2 years and there is no tune yet. I hope it will come soon, as the Ecoboost only came out about 2 months ago. So does anyone know when the tune is coming?

You could go with a Lund Racing or Palm Beach dyno tune for your car. Both are great tuners but may void your warranty depending on your dealership. You can go from mild to wild depending on your car and I like to say "life is too short to stay stock" so might as well enjoy your car to it's fullest. Hey guys. I just wanted to let you all know that I am getting this product installed on my car this coming Tuesday the 19th and will post before and after dyno results later that night.

Just dropped off my car at GTR for the kit Install. Will post up the results tonight sometime around 6 PST.

The install almost didn’t happen!! Got a flat last night and luckily they gave me a loaner. Installing new set of tires tomorrow.
