For those that don’t know these are the stock focus RS cams, they don’t do much, i recall a few years back someone for a whole 11whp before and after with them

Not true- the Focus RS uses the same cams as the Mustang according to the Ford parts catalog and also as measured by Esslinger. For those that don’t know these are the stock focus RS cams, they don’t do much, i recall a few years back someone for a whole 11whp before and after with them
Those are more of a drivability cam. Nothing crazy lope wise like the comp cams if that's what you're after.Hey guys, wanted to see if anyone had put these on their car and had a review as far as what to expect sound and performance wise.
I would tell you unless your gonna pull the head, get a port and polish, new, valves, springs etc... Don't even look into it. The only reason I even considered these myself, was the engine was already apart, (as in I didn't pay to get the engine pulled apart my aftermarket warranty did) and my buddy who was the head engine guy at the dealership I have do all this crap (Not worth doing this on my daily driver as a self taught dude without some guarantees that it will work or be redone until it does). Is the fact that beyond an inspection for wear I didn't need to replace any valves, springs, etc. Most comp cam upgrades require replacing spring, valves, shimming to match cams etc. At that point might as well get it sent off to be ported and polished..... That 400 plus cam upgrade at best turns into several thousand in parts and time spent without the car and at worse 4 or 5 thousand if your paying a shop for the labor coupled with the cost of parts. So what would be a good pair of comp cams? Im still running stock block but do have my bigger turbo coming in next week.
I can’t find any Ecoboost cams on comp’s website. Can you please share a link? Also would love to see the dyno graph.Any hp gains on the dyno from the Ford Performance cam job?
I recently had the Comp Cams put on my mustang and tuned. Was able to get about 40+ rwhp gain which I was impressed with
Comp cams went on my 2017 Mustang GT 5.0, not an ecoboost.I can’t find any Ecoboost cams on comp’s website. Can you please share a link? Also would love to see the dyno graph.
