  1. Ford Performance High Performance Camshafts

Not true- the Focus RS uses the same cams as the Mustang according to the Ford parts catalog and also as measured by Esslinger. Stock 2.3L Mustang & Focus RS Ecoboost Cam Specs: Intake: .327" lift, 197 duration @ .050" Exhaust:.293" lift, 187 duration @ 050" Ford Racing 2.3L Ecoboost Cams...
  2. Ford Performance Cams

I hear that, but most people’s reaction to “I want top end” is to throw a turbo at it. That is ultimately necessary but cams should be part of that equation. These cams don’t add tons of duration, but they do add some lift which will increase flow. My surprise is that for $200 no one has seemed...
  3. Ford Performance Cams

The mustang and RS use the same cams. Intake: BB5Z-6250-B Exhaust: EJ7Z-6250-A It’s great how all these tuners say these cams are useless but don’t seem to actually have tested them or even know simple facts about the OEM Mustang cams. The Ford Racing cams are dirt cheap, I’m surprised that...
  4. Ford Performance selling HPP turbo

No, we were discussing the old naturally aspirated 2.5L duratec 4 cylinder that is port injected. It was found on base model fusions, escapes and transit connects for the last 10 years or so.
  5. EB2.3 vs Duratec 2.0/2.3/2.5 Bellshousing bolt pattern

Is the mustang MT-82 for the ecoboost or coyote, those definitely have different bell housings. Once the 2019 Ranger OEM parts catalog is online will be easy to compare block P/Ns for commonality.
  6. EB2.3 vs Duratec 2.0/2.3/2.5 Bellshousing bolt pattern

When people put a 2.0L ecoboost block in a mustang the block is from a fwd application (there are no OEM rwd 2.0L ecoboosts). So all duratec/ecoboost have the same bolt pattern.
  7. Ford Performance selling HPP turbo

See post 47, sounds like it is doable. https://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/#/topics/813631?page=5 From my quick glance at head gaskets for a duratec and ecoboost it definitely isn’t a straight swap. I would personally stick with the 2.0L ecoboost block as it is simple and widely done. There...
  8. EB2.3 vs Duratec 2.0/2.3/2.5 Bellshousing bolt pattern

The bolt pattern is the same. People bolt up the ecoboost 2.0L from the Focus ST into duratec equipped mk1 Focus using their original mtx-75 transmission. As we know the bolt pattern between the 2.0L and 2.3L ecoboost is the same, thus all duratec based engines use the same bolt pattern. See...
