Wondering if these are worth installing and if anyone has experience with them. I am building a MAP shortblock with NX2 turbo and downpipe, wondering what power increase these cams might provide with a tune.

This has been discussed here quite often and the consensus has been: not enough HP/TQ gains to warrant the cost and labor to install. Same goes with the FP throttle body.

Thanks for the info. I did a search but didn't find the discussions you refer to, but suspected it wasn't worth the money, hp/$ ratio. The cams are relatively cheap but the install labor won't be.

Ecoboost Ford Performance cams (camshafts for future reference searches), all the reading info is in this thread - and within that thread users also posted an older thread that had a lot more discussion too:

https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/ford-performance-high-performance-camshafts.90368/

The reason it's hard to search for that tech in here is because folks abbreviate Ecoboost to EB... and use varying ways to post about the cams:
FP cams
FP EB camshafts
Ford Performance Cams
Ford Performance EB camshafts
Ecoboost cams
Ecoboost camshafts
EB cams
EB FP cams
Ecoboost Performance cams
Performance Ford cams
Performance Ford camshafts
Ecoboost camshaft
Ecoboost Ford Performance cams
Ecoboost Ford Performance camshafts
2.3 cams
2.0 cams
2.3 EB FP cams

etc etc etc..... so when doing a search on here, try the above and quite a few threads will get picked up in the results.

Need to see the power graphs .
Power under the peak, and torque curve can make a car much quicker but the power numbers at peak not be anything to write home about.
They are not lawn mowers that rpm at a steady point. area under the peak and whole power curve needs to be seen.

I had them installed when EMS built my new motor using the 2.0 block. Also had pocket porting and upgraded valve springs/retainers at the same time. Hard to tell what improvement they made as I had everything done at the same time. There are better options out there performance wise with Piper and Kelford. But I believe those are really only for folks going a much bigger turbo etc. The NX2 maxes out at around 500whp. It doesn't move enough air to see much benefit from upgraded cams.
