What do you expect your first mod to be, and hw quickly do you think you'll make it?

Intake, exhaust, tune, and lowering springs. If they are available I will have them on before the temp tag is off. LoL

When you go to fill out the paperwork at the dealer, bring all of this stuff. Tell them you'll take delivery once they put it all on...

My first mod will be the driver mod; HPDE passes at Summitt Point.
That should be a blast and an excellent way to check out the suspension benefits!

To the OP - this is probably one of the few Mustangs that I would NOT modify sight unseen because of all the new hardware in the typical areas where people make changes - exhaust, springs/shocks, brakes, engine output, shifter.

Given I will daily drive this car, if anything gets changed first, it will be the exhaust system, but given that it looks like it will be a more involved change than the current S197 axlebacks, I will probably be waiting awhile before doing anything. I will want to hear the stock exhaust as it gets seasoned over time and heat cycles.

I think people are going to be pleasantly surprised at a lot of the stock capabilities. The engineering that has gone into this car, if what we know from what's been shared so far is true, looks to be VERY solid.

I'll tint the windows immediately then save $$ through the fall and winter for some Vossens and summer tires in the spring. After that likely intake, exhaust, tune, and since I am getting an auto and therefore no PP I will likely get a strut tower brace, and better rear sway bar.

If I end up getting the PP, I will be putting on whatever subtle lip spoiler is available.

I'm crossing my fingers that the s197 longtubes will fit with little to no mod. I still have my magnaflow comp catback that I'm going cut up to fit the 2015 and have my kooks lt's sitting on a shelf.

I'd have to say Roush Axle back exhaust because I had that on my 14 and I love the sound :)

I would be pretty surprised if any s197 exhaust pieces fit correctly on the new model...
