There was a battleship gray 100% stock Redeye with just a drag radial going 10.30's all day
+ 100 octane. He ain't running those #'s on 91/93.. that's a guarantee.

I remember when The Kid(Speed Phenom)ran a 10.66ET at the Texas MotorPlex and some expert members posted just wait to a stock Shelbygt500 gets to Atco with Hero DA and his record was going to be lowered by 2 to 3 tenths.I posted a few days after Speed Phenom made that record run that the Texas MotorPlex was a great track and holds a lot of NHRA Records.Just Saying

I was at Atco that day and recorded Stangmode's GT500 vs a ZO6 from behind prior to his C8 races... He posted his ZO6 race content earlier today. Great video as well...

I also ran my new 2020 Mustang GT auto for the 1st time. Just hit 1000 miles and did 1st oil change at 500 mile...My best pass was my very 1st which was 12.11 at 118 mph on stock radial at 38 psi , 1/2 tank of gas , Base model car with 301A package 315 gears.

My worst 60 ft of the day vs GT350...My best was a 1.89 but traction control messed up a shift on a couple passes that would been 12.0's
The GT 350 was sound asleep. Also goes to prove the 350 is not a drag car, no low end torque. You can see by the trap speed that the 350 was starting to get its legs.

There's a few redeyes here. So no need to travel 2700 km haha. Also, I read enough about it a moparts.org. Bunch of brown nosers haha. Anyways, I'm more impressed with 'normal' S550's with a single turbo kit running mid 9's on 'street tires'.

I would like to take on a GT350 with a great driver and drag radials and still keep my stock tires
I had just that scenario last year v a black GT350 w/white stripes on henderson highway. Kick his ass pretty good. We're friends now haha.

Seems like that's the way to go if just want to drag race.

prepped surface
For the 1%ers. The other 99% of the time your not on a prepped surface. There's a reason why no prep racing is taking off big time.

What kit and who do I see for a single turbo kit that can get my car in the mid 9's?
Sounds to good to be true..Love to do that in my car.
He probably means twin turbos.
A Whipple supercharger can also get you in the mid 9s easy. Just a matter of how long the engine lasts.
Could last 10 years, could be a month. A lot of factors go into it.

Just found this video. C8 Z51 0-60 0-100 and 1/4 mile testing on the street. Stock tires 35 psi.

Best 0-60 is 2.70 sec
Best 0-100 is 7.19
Best 1/4 is 11.19

C8 is crazy quick on the street just not as impressive on a drag strip.

Bullshit. No way that was a 100mph run. Seriously take you C8 loving to the vette forums.
Why not do a little research before you post hate and lies. MT testing was 7.1 0-100 go take your hate and put in to use against something that needs to be hated.

I agree with Millhouse that without knowing the grade of the surface, no way of knowing if this was incline or decline or a mix. Would have been more definitive to have run both directions and average the two. Also, if that was the built in PDR, then yes that was 100 mph.
