Many here were attacking a guy that said “stock with a tire”. As if a tire was a mod, which it clearly is not.

I never said or implied that one should compare cars on different types of tires. Just the opposite.
Define mod plz, thanks

A stock car on a tire is still stock.
negative mr. fake news.

stock = factory spec down to the tires, weight, etc.

Tires are part of the spec.

therefore, upgrading tires = modifying the spec.

thus the “modified” or “not stock” designation.

It’s a simple fact. No need to loosen your bowels over it.

I like the version of stock car on non-stock tire, that is if no changes have been made to the car other than tires. Especially when a manufacture, Dodge, puts an entirely too small tire on a 707 HP car. Change the tire to better suit the task at hand. I can live with that as a close to stock vs stock comparison.

In the end, if the tires are not the same spec as what it rolled off the showroom floor with, it ain't stock.

Now where is my beating a dead horse meme??????
