No

Because I assume there may be some peeps just coming to this thread and they don't want to take the time to read through 48+ pages of replies.

So the manifold was installed on Friday and I drove maybe about 650/700 kms since then. Definitely happy with this mod.

I rowed through the gears on the highway and hit up a hilly area and a road with lots of curves. The power did seem to come on lower but no noticeable loss up top. It pulls quite hard throughout. Still smiling.

Currently I have a canned tune, BBK 85mm throttle body, AFE power cold air intake, and Flowmasters catback... I'm debating if I should get a custom tune and swap my gt350 intake on instead. Either way I'm very pleased with the results.

I have the manifold installed. I know what the gains are supposed to be. My concern is that someone with a FBO car is getting 390 whp when a vmp test got 450 whp. That's a crazy discrepancy. For comparison I stated how multiple CAI tests done and put on youtube by big vendors show the stock+cai setup to make around 390-400 whp. And yet the guy with a FBO is making just about that. Its not that I'm crying about the loss in peak performance Im wondering how these vendor youtube videos are getting what seem to be completely out of reach numbers.

You gotta remember with dynos they are calibrated differently. All of them. Some are more favorable than others. I think it is the mustang-brand dyno specifically is known for having low numbers versus say a dynojet. Even more so, your butt dyno is not gonna be the same as my butt dyno.

Oh I get that but if I recall correctly the user with the FBO 390 whp was on a dynojet. Theres a 15% degree of variance which is significant.

Edit: Just want to say I'm very happy with the f-150 manifold. VERY happy, I love the extra tq.

Well done! The F150 manifold makes a very nice difference to low-midrange torque and acceleration. Like you, I honestly couldn't feel any drop-off in the upper RPM band compared to the OEM GT manifold.

With the larger 85mm throttle body, did you have to get a re-tune? If so, did you notice any drivability issues? Reason I ask is I tried a GT350 87mm throttle body earlier this year and my Tuner could never get it to run right, so we went back to OEM TB and all drivability issues went away.

Also, what's everyone's thoughts on those 1/2" Throttle Body Spacers? They're suppose to improve low-end response/torque even more.

Thanks! I might have to take it out from storage and drive it a few more times lol. Definitely enjoyed the difference with how the car feels with this manifold on it.

Zero issues with the BBK and I'm running on a canned tune but this throttle body is supposed to perform just like OEM without a tune anyways. It was subtle but yes, that upgrade felt good on the butt dyno.

Btw, I couldn't use the BBK and the Airraid tb spacer together so I'm gonna sell it.

Let me know if interested...

All good, I was just curious. I've been told a bigger TB doesn't make much difference anyway, so I'm happy to stick with my OEM TB and retain smooth drivability :)

It'd be interesting to see what a custom tune does with this F-150 manifold on. Currently running the same tune as before, so it's not really tweaked / optimised for the F-150 mani.

i guess ill chime back in. i was running my lund tune that i got before headers and intake manifold and just had them retune and the car def drives better, smoother, quieter, than before the retune. dakota said everything was fine before but theyve updated their tunes since i first got tuned so this one i like much better all around.

A couple of passengers commented that my car pulls (and throws them back) harder since this mod. The mid-range torque/punch is awesome, and it feels like it still pulls all the way up to where the GT manifold did before. Could be because of the other supporting mods (CAI and long-tube headers + 3" exhaust etc). Anyway, I'll get a re-tune and some dyno runs done in the next few weeks to see where it's all at.

So far, definitely enjoying the way the car feels and drives on the street now than before. Well worth the money spent! :)

So this was discussed way earlier in the thread but has anyone picked up an '18 F150 manifold yet?

Hows $60 bucks + shipping sound?

I have a brand new one never used. My 2016 ended up getting a CJ mani then got totaled shortly after. I have a 2018 A10 car now.

I can get rid of this.
